Endless RainX JAPAN

It’s a moving ballad by X JAPAN, the band that made its name known around the world.

No matter how far they fell, how much they suffered, or how much they cried out, they clawed their way back up—doesn’t that make this song their medal of tears? Their heartfelt cries come through so powerfully that you can’t help but be moved to tears.

Love ReplicaX JAPAN

The second multi-track recording piece by HIDE.

It uses samples of various sounds from the surroundings, such as hitting a trash can that was in the studio.

The female narration in French was included because HIDE, who is particular about sound, liked the lip noises in French.

Rasty NailX JAPAN

It is the theme song for the Fuji TV drama “Kimi ga Mienai.” It is one of X JAPAN’s best-known signature songs.

Released in 1994, it became the band’s first single to reach No.

1 on the Oricon Singles Chart.

It was certified Triple Platinum and is the band’s second best-selling single.

X JAPAN enjoys an enthusiastic following not only in Japan but around the world.

When they debuted, their looks gave them a reputation for being extreme, but the song they chose for their second single was Endress Rain.

It’s a song about being unable to forget a former lover and trying to wash away the sorrow with the rain.

ALIVEX JAPAN

(LIVE) X japan – Alive
ALIVEX JAPAN

Part of Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata is used in the intro.

X’s style of fusing classical and rock begins here.

As the mid-tempo track progresses, TOSHI’s cries resound with sorrow.

It was only performed live during their indie days.

CRUCIFY MY LOVEX JAPAN

X Japan – Crucify my love [PV]
CRUCIFY MY LOVEX JAPAN

It’s a simple performance composed only of piano, vocals, and orchestra.

By stripping away anything unnecessary, it highlights the delicacy of each note.

Seeking greater realism, YOSHIKI even placed a microphone near the piano’s pedals.

In fact, the sound of his foot lifting off the pedal at the end of the piece is also recorded.

As the piano flows beautifully and I’m swept away, dissonant chords collide as if to shatter the silence—just like the cycle of joy and sorrow in life.

YOSHIKI understands that all too well.
