MiscastX JAPAN

X – 1991.08.06 – Miscast
MiscastX JAPAN

Written and composed by HIDE.

The lyrics, which satirize someone being elevated by those around them and made to dance like a clown, leave a strong impression.

Is this a warning aimed at such figures, or a self-admonition directed at HIDE himself? It sparks all kinds of imaginings in the listener.

UNFINISHEDX JAPAN

X (X JAPAN) Unfinished (Tokyo Dome 1992.01.07)
UNFINISHEDX JAPAN

As the title “Unfinished” suggests, the anguish of being ensnared by unending sorrow and the conflict of having to keep moving forward reflect an “unfinished heart.” The clear, transparent tone of the piano is played as if guiding a single ray of hope, so that it does not end in sadness alone.

The final track on the album BLUE BLOOD.

X JAPAN’s classic and popular songs (31–40)

Voiceless ScreamingX JAPAN

X ~ Voiceless Screaming (On The Verge Of Destruction, live, 1992)
Voiceless ScreamingX JAPAN

As the title suggests, “A Voiceless Cry” is the cry from Toshi’s heart as he battled the fear of whether he could sing again after damaging his throat during the recording period.

The delicate resonance of the acoustic guitar deepens the sense of sorrow.

Most of the guitar parts were performed by Taiji.

White Wind From Mr.Martin ~Pata’s NapX JAPAN

White Wind From Mr. Martin ~Pata’s Nap~ – X Japan
White Wind From Mr.Martin ~Pata's NapX JAPAN

An acoustic guitar instrumental by PATA.

It was performed on a guitar he encountered while staying in Los Angeles for recording.

Its gentle tone seems to reflect PATA’s generous personality as he looks after the other members.

This is the only song in the band’s history that was composed by PATA.

XCLAMATIONX JAPAN

X Japan – Xclamation (PV)
XCLAMATIONX JAPAN

Composed by HIDE and TAIJI.

It’s an instrumental track recorded through HIDE’s multi-layered overdubs.

The percussion patterns reminiscent of folk music lead the listener into another dimension, where the sudden entrance of TAIJI’s growling slap bass awakens the senses.

orgasmX JAPAN

X Japan – Orgasm PV (Visual Shock II Shigeki)
orgasmX JAPAN

The fastest track on the album “BLUE BLOOD.” As the title suggests, the excitement peaks with the speed of the drums.

It’s said that during the drum recording, YOSHIKI took energy drinks to get through it—a legendary song that pushed his physical limits that much.

ROSE OF PAINX JAPAN

X JAPAN Rose of Pain Live With Orchestra Lyrics Ver.
ROSE OF PAINX JAPAN

A grand piece over ten minutes long, woven from a fusion of rock and classical music, inspired by a real tragedy that occurred in Europe 400 years ago.

From a beautifully heartrending ballad, a guitar riff slices through the silence, surging in to ignite the thrill of a sudden dramatic turn.
