Perfect for the Year of the Horse! Here’s an idea for making a horse’s face out of origami.

Let’s try making a bell out of origami to use as a Christmas decoration.
With the colored side of the paper facing up, fold up the bottom edge by about 1 centimeter.
Turn the paper over, fold the top left and right corners in to meet at the center, then fold the top down along the base line of the triangle you just made.
Fold the bottom left and right corners up to meet the bottom point of the triangle.
At this step, fold them at a slight angle so the shape looks like a bell.
Tuck in the remaining corners to refine the bell shape, then make a second one the same way and glue them together.
Finish by attaching a holly piece to the back.

Take a square sheet of origami paper divided into four equal parts and fold it into a triangle three times.
Hold the corner that becomes the center of the origami, then round off the edge and cut off the tip.
Draw two curved lines up and down from the left edge to just before the right edge, and make cuts along those curves with scissors.
Open the paper, then glue the middle sections with the slits together at the center on all four sides.
Make another one the same way, rotate it slightly, and attach them back-to-back.
Finally, add a string for hanging, and it’s complete.

Turn the paper to the front and draw the face to finish.
