Dice Bingo
This is a simple yet surprisingly hard dice game called “Dice Bingo.” Since small dice can be hard to handle, it’s recommended to use slightly larger ones.
For example, with three players each holding a die, decide on “roll an even number” and keep rolling until everyone gets an even number.
The more players you have, the harder it gets to match.
Once you can all match evens or odds, level up by trying to all roll the same number.
The satisfaction when you finally match is exceptional!
Go (the board game)
Go has sparked a boom, even producing an elementary-school-aged professional player and becoming popular in manga.
Go is a game played with black and white stones, competing to see who can secure the larger territory.
It uses a board similar to shogi, but you place stones not inside the squares, but on the intersections where the grid lines meet.
Players take turns placing black and white stones, connecting their own stones to secure territory.
You can also capture your opponent’s stones by surrounding them, testing your ability to think strategically!
Easy! Prefecture Bingo Card with a Milk Carton
A simple bingo game played by arranging nine cards with the names of prefectures dealt from a deck.
Write the names of prefectures on cards made by cutting up milk cartons and create two identical sets.
Since the dealt cards are random, you repeat the process of checking once each time whether the called prefecture is on your hand, while hoping to complete a line.
Keeping your eyes on your cards, it might also be fun to recall images or memories of the prefectures as they’re called.
Paper Cup Bingo
It’s a game where players take turns placing three sizes of paper cups—large, medium, and small—on a grid, aiming to line up three cups of their color.
The grid is a 3×3 board with nine squares, and you try to complete your own line while preventing your opponent from completing theirs.
Because the rules allow you to stack your cup on top of your opponent’s cup, choosing which size to play becomes a key strategic point.

Easy to make! Ping-pong Ball Bingo
Bingo is usually something you enjoy on paper, but how about trying a more game-like version? Ping-Pong Ball Bingo is a tabletop bingo game using an egg carton and ping-pong balls.
To make the base, simply prepare four empty egg cartons, open them up, and staple the four together—done! To play, place the egg cartons in the middle of the table and bounce ping-pong balls on the table so they land in the cartons.
If you line up three or more balls of the same color in a vertical, horizontal, or diagonal row, you win.
Split into teams by ball color and face off!
Word Bingo!
Let’s enjoy a wordplay-based bingo game called Word Bingo! The bingo card has 9 squares, and you fill them with words that match a given theme.
For example, if the theme is “words that start with ‘ka,’” you fill the squares with words that begin with ‘ka’ that you can think of.
When the representative announces their nine ‘ka’ words, check whether any of them match the words on your card; if they do, mark them.
You win when you complete a line vertically, horizontally, or diagonally.

It’s a simple game where you use a pencil to draw a grid and numbers on paper, then aim for bingo.
The grid is 3 squares by 3 squares, for a total of 9, and you freely choose numbers from 1 to 15 to fill them in at random.
Once everyone has finished writing their numbers, you’re ready to play: read out the numbers on the cards in order, and each player aims for bingo.
You can enjoy seeing whether a line on your own card completes, or you can turn it into a competitive game where you try to complete more lines than your opponent—either way, it’s sure to be exciting.
