Created by the popular singer-songwriter Tatsuro Yamashita—who has continued to produce countless masterpieces such as “Christmas Eve” and “Sōbō”—the song was released in 1987 as his 16th single.
It was used as the CM song for ANA’s “Sky Holiday Sports Resort Okinawa Campaign.” The dazzling sound and buoyant vocals evoke an island of eternal summer, and you can’t help but feel, “Maybe I’ll travel somewhere warm this summer!”
