Commercials from fiscal year 1987

An original song used in ANA’s 1987 commercial.
It resonates with a grand sound that evokes images of people traveling the world.
The classical melody, which carries a touch of nostalgia, fits the commercial perfectly and leaves a strong impression.
You can almost picture an airplane soaring through the open sky.
The refreshing sound matches the commercial’s footage of a plane slowly taking off.
It’s a piece that reflects a Japan entering an era when overseas travel became more accessible.
Why not listen to it while reminiscing about fond memories from that time?
Let’s change the image of the Japanese! “Big increase in Haneda International flights!”

ANA’s commercial songs include many refreshing original tracks themed around travel, the sky, and airplanes, but one of the most memorable was created to commemorate the launch of service from Narita to Chicago in 2006.
Brimming with energy and optimism for a bright future, the song even includes a pun about a deer heading to Chicago enjoying basketball, boosting excitement for ANA’s challenge in the U.S.
market.
Another unforgettable track was used in the commercial featuring Son Goku, voiced by Masako Nozawa; the future-bass style dance music playing in the background remains enjoyable no matter how many times you hear it.
ANA’s CM songs pair visual appeal with uplifting melodies that make you feel ready to set off on a journey, leaving a strong impression on listeners.
Be sure to give them a listen.
ANA Okinawa Campaign

In the ANA Okinawa campaign commercial that aired in 1983, Tatsuro Yamashita’s “Koukiatsu Girl” (High-Pressure Girl) was featured.
Its refreshing melody perfectly matches the impression of Okinawa’s beautiful sea and sky and really leaves a mark! The lyrics are filled with words that evoke the tropical atmosphere of Okinawa, and just one listen makes you want to take a trip there.
It’s a song packed with the desire to set off on a journey, riding a high-pressure system that carries the heat of the shining sun.
By the way, the breathy interjection you hear partway through the song is said to be by Tatsuro Yamashita’s wife, Mariya Takeuchi!
ANA “Go All Out This Winter with ANA” version

This commercial comically portrays the excitement of eagerly waiting for a trip by using a giraffe’s long neck as a metaphor for “waiting with a long neck.” The strong desire to travel leads the character to run away from a task they were assigned, and there’s even a playful scene where they bump their long neck.
The boss, upon learning they were planning to go on a trip, understands, and the story transitions to them fully enjoying their journey.
It also clearly highlights the great deals offered by ANA and shows how fulfilling the experience is from the planning stage onward.
ANA “Go All Out with ANA This Spring”

This commercial uses a long-necked giraffe to represent people who have been eagerly awaiting travel season, and it captures the joy of finally being able to take a trip.
It clearly highlights that with ANA, you can enjoy travel at a great value, and emphasizes that this leads to an even more fulfilling travel experience.
By making it possible to plan cost-effective trips, it also conveys that you can start enjoying your journey from the planning stage.
ANA “Zip off with ANA right now — 5x miles”

This commercial conveys, in a fun and lighthearted way, that with ANA you can go wherever you want, whenever you want.
Because it shows people flying long distances to places like Sapporo and Hakata, it really captures the sense of speedy travel.
By enjoying local cuisine in each location and showing smiling faces, it gives a breezy impression that highlights the joy of traveling.
ANA ‘It’s summer, it’s travel, it’s ANA!’ version

This commercial, set in a unique world where statues of Ryoma Sakamoto and Ninomiya Kinjiro go on a trip, vividly conveys the excitement of travel.
You can sense from the two statues bustling about that they’re enjoying not only the destination but also the journey to get there.
Their expressions don’t change—since they’re statues—but it’s interesting how their outfits and movements still convey a sense of fulfillment.
