Takako Okamura and Haruko Kato, who perform as the musical duo Amin, are both from Aichi Prefecture.
Their debut single, “Matsu wa,” topped Oricon’s annual chart for 1982.
With “Matsu wa,” they also made their first appearance at the 33rd NHK Kōhaku Uta Gassen held in 1982.

Born in 1978, TOKONA-X was a hip-hop MC who passed away at the young age of 26.
Strictly speaking, he was born in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, but he moved to Tokoname City in Aichi Prefecture as a child, and his name, TOKONA-X, was derived from Tokoname.
He moved during a sensitive period and struggled to fit in with friends; it was then that he encountered hip-hop.
He met the Nagoya-born track maker Katana-Kashira and performed as ILLMARIACHI.
Today, he is remembered as a legendary, iconic rapper.
