Born in 1978, TOKONA-X was a hip-hop MC who passed away at the young age of 26.
Strictly speaking, he was born in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, but he moved to Tokoname City in Aichi Prefecture as a child, and his name, TOKONA-X, was derived from Tokoname.
He moved during a sensitive period and struggled to fit in with friends; it was then that he encountered hip-hop.
He met the Nagoya-born track maker Katana-Kashira and performed as ILLMARIACHI.
Today, he is remembered as a legendary, iconic rapper.
Mikiura feat. KID FRESINOC.O.S.A.
Rapper C.O.S.A., who began his music career at clubs in Nagoya, has collaborated with numerous artists across generations and also provides tracks as a producer.

Takeo Asai, who played guitar in the band, is also from Aichi Prefecture.
Although they released only two albums, they had a major influence on young bands at the time.
After the band broke up, the other members regrouped as GING NANG BOYZ, but he did not join them.
