Bands, artists, and singers from the Kansai region (181–190)
Flower of the Heart〜Lefa〜

Lefa is a music duo based in Nagahama City, Shiga Prefecture.
Originally, Yota Kitagawa and Hiroyuki Kawano were merely acquaintances, and the group was a hastily formed unit created for an event.
However, after their first live performance, offers poured in from music festivals and commercial facilities, prompting them to begin full-fledged activities.
In 2011, they were appointed as a tourism PR team by the Nagahama Tourism Association, and in recent years, beyond their work as artists, they have engaged in collaborative initiatives with local communities and government bodies, mainly in Shiga.
They are truly artists committed to community-rooted activities.

Wandervogelkururi

An experimental rock band born from a university club in Kyoto.
Quruli made their major debut in 1998 and, while rooted in rock, has shaken up the music scene with a wide-ranging sound that transcends genres, including classical and techno.
They ventured into alternative rock with the album “THE WORLD IS MINE,” and achieved a fusion with classical music on the album “Tanz Walzer.” Their distinctive musicality and cultural activities earned them the Kyoto City Cultural and Artistic Merit Award in 2021.
Since 2007, they have hosted the music festival “Kyoto Ongaku Hakurankai” in Umekoji Park, Kyoto, contributing to the promotion of local music culture.
Continually pursuing new forms of musical expression beyond genre boundaries, Quruli’s music is perfect for fans drawn to experimental sounds and poetic lyrics.
Cowardkonpeitou beibii

They were a girls’ pop band based in Osaka with the tagline, “A four-piece orthodox pop band from the Konpeitō Star.” They were appointed PR Ambassadors for Izumi City in the Land of Izumi and were highly active, but they disbanded in 2016.
Aoi Haruyurimeri

Yurimeri is a music duo from Shiga Prefecture that began performing at local school festivals and made their streaming debut in 2019.
The sister duo consists of Yui, the older sister on vocals, guitar, and keyboard, and Mei, the younger sister on vocals and cajón.
They’ve gained particular popularity among women of their generation on social media.
With 260,000 followers on TikTok and more than 1.8 million total song plays on YouTube, they can truly be called a modern act that caught fire through social media.
Their seamlessly blended, sister-born harmonies are a delight—new-generation musicians to watch.
Sunny DriveZa☆Bon

Formed at a music vocational school in Osaka, they were a girls’ band that promoted themselves with the tagline ‘sentimental rock.’ Unusually for a rock band, they had no guitarist.
They drew attention for their accessible pop-rock sound, but unfortunately disbanded in 2008.
NanahitsujiShinario Aato

A three-piece band with male-female twin vocals formed in Shiga Prefecture.
Their band concept is “music you read, live shows you watch,” unfolding Scenarioart’s unique worldview.
With an unconventional lineup, their taut, nerve-tingling performances and lyrics brimming with fantasy leave a mark.
The interweaving voices of Hayashi and Hattori create thrilling tension, driving forward with rollercoaster-like momentum that heightens the emotion—a new-generation rock band.
They’re a group from whom even greater evolution and success can be expected.
Beyond the horizonNaito Safari

Night Safari is a four-piece rock band from Shiga Prefecture, a new act known for gutsy, emotionally charged live shows.
Their powerful vocals and harmonies reflect influences from Japanese emotional punk bands like eastern youth and Dohatsuten.
The lyrics are an outpouring of raw feelings born from everyday life, scrawled with passionate intensity.
Their songs never stop charging forward with a gritty drive, and they even reveal a modern metal approach in the instrumental breaks.
They’re a Japanese-language punk rock band whose live performances—singing until their voices are hoarse—are easy to picture.
