Predia is a popular idol group known for performances that draw on their overwhelming vocal prowess and sultry allure.

Within the group, Luna Matsumoto, who hails from Nara Prefecture, serves as a sub-vocalist.

This song was released in 2016 as their fourth major-label single.

It carries an image that seems to provoke so-called herbivore men.

Itokin, a member of the J-POP group ET-KING, was from Sanda City in Hyogo Prefecture.

His nickname “Itokin” came from his resemblance to Shigeru Ito, a character in the manga Boku to Issho (Me and the Devil Blues).

He sadly passed away in 2018 due to illness at the young age of 38.

Chaotic Princesskamaitachi

Formed in Kyoto City in 1985, Kamaitachi made their major debut the year after releasing their first album.

This song, Hachamecha Hime, was used as the theme song for the TV anime Tsuruhime ja!? and reached No.

14 on the Oricon charts.

Sayonara Poetry is a rock band formed in Kobe, Hyogo.

While they’ve gone through a few lineup changes, they’ve consistently maintained the same worldview and musical identity since their debut.

Lyrically, they favor straightforward expressions and often use dialogue-like lines, making it easy to immerse yourself in each song’s world.

Sanmyu~ is an idol group produced by Sun Music—the agency that has launched many idols—and it was their first time in 21 years to produce an idol act, as well as the first idol group to belong to the agency.

Member Yayoi Kobayashi is from Nara Prefecture, and this song was released in 2013 as their major-label debut single.

It’s a cover of a big hit by Yukiko Okada, who was affiliated with Sun Music, with lyrics written by Seiko Matsuda.

Taiki Nakano is a singer-songwriter based in Wakayama Prefecture, an energetic musician who performs live frequently.

He appears set to expand his activities to venues like live houses in Osaka.

He’s a rising figure to watch, sure to deliver many energetic works in the future!

Nikoichi, formed in 2007, is a duo of vocalist Fuyuki Isashi, a former baseball club member, and guitarist/vocalist Hiroshi Matsuda.

They teamed up and began street performances in Sannomiya, eventually making their major debut in 2015.

They also produce songs for events and for the city of Kobe, sharing the charms of Hyogo Prefecture nationwide in an acoustic style.

Their gently resonant melodies are truly wonderful, aren’t they?
