A circuit where you role-play as a ninja

Nin-nin! Swift and stylish moves! Here are some circuit ideas for becoming a ninja.
Prepare a ninja transformation set made from construction paper, a balance beam, a jump rope, mats, and so on.
The video introduces circuit ideas for three-year-olds, but with a few tweaks, many of them can be uniquely adapted for two-year-olds as well! Let’s use the balance beam, jump rope, and mats to fully get into ninja mode.
Wearing a ninja dress-up set to boost the mood is a great idea, too.
Ball-carrying relay

The “Ball-Carrying Relay” is an event that gets everyone excited at sports day while deepening the parent-child bond.
The rules are simple: a parent and child work together to carry a single ball.
However, if you’re not in sync, it’s hard to carry the ball smoothly.
Be careful—if you drop the ball or touch it with your hands along the way, you’re out! You can get creative by placing the ball on top of your joined hands, or by using a towel or two sticks.
Using a balloon instead of a ball works great too.
It’s an event that really calls for parent-child communication.
Cardboard kart circuit

Let’s have fun with decorations too! Here are some ideas for a cardboard kart circuit.
What you’ll need: a kart made from cardboard, hats made from construction paper, crayons or colored pencils, coloring pages, double-sided tape, building blocks, and balloons.
Some kids may have played go-kart or racing kart games before, right? Hop into a cardboard kart and race along a course made from blocks! It’s also great to arrange it as a parent-child activity.
Since decorating the cardboard karts is part of the fun, the making process looks exciting too!

Shuwa-shuwa Honey Lemon 350ml – Sharou
Make it with everyday materials! Here are some circuit course ideas using milk cartons.
All you need are milk cartons and tape.
After cutting the cartons, connect them using an accordion fold.
They can be used as lane dividers, and it’s also fun to incorporate them into activities by putting organza fabric or colorful balls inside the cartons.
For children with allergies, using juice or tea cartons instead of milk cartons is a safer option.
Give it a try!
playing horsey

Incorporating Olympic equestrian events into a school sports day’s parent–child activities might seem difficult, but if the parent gets down on all fours as the “horse” and the child rides on their back, it instantly transforms into a proper equestrian event! You can adjust the difficulty by adding various obstacles along the course.
If you do it outdoors, using mats can enhance safety and reduce strain on the parent’s knees.
Wearing a horse mask or having the child wear a helmet can make it feel more realistic and safer as well.
Newspaper Spiderweb Circuit

Tear it! Stick it! Crawl through and play! Here’s an idea for a newspaper spiderweb circuit.
You’ll need plastic ribbon (suzuran tape), newspaper, and tape.
This is a great idea when you want to include crawling movements in your circuit.
Some children find tunnels challenging because they’re dark and long.
By tearing and sticking newspaper as part of everyday activities, you can naturally encourage crawling movements! The making process also stimulates children’s creativity—what a wonderful idea.
Family Space Travel

Ride a handmade two-person spaceship, defeat the aliens, and grab the sparkling star from the treasure chest.
This is a sports day event recommended for nurseries and kindergartens that even small children can enjoy while participating.
The race starts by getting into the two-person spaceship.
Work together with your partner to board the ship and run in sync toward the target treasure chest.
Once you arrive, take the star from inside, make a U-turn, and head back to the starting point to pass the baton to the next pair.
The sight of the kids riding in the spaceship is adorable, and it really livens up the sports day.
