[Daiwa House Commercials] Popular and Historical Commercials Summary [2026] (11–20)

D-Room “Greeting the Father” EditionJuri Ueno, Masahiro Higashide, Jun Kunimura

Nice CM: Daiwa House D-room — Juri Ueno, Masahiro Higashide, Jun Kunimura “Greeting the Father” Version

This is the D-room security rental series commercial titled “Greeting the Father,” featuring Juri Ueno.

This time, the star-studded cast includes Masahiro Higashide as the boyfriend and Jun Kunimura as the father.

Nervously greeting her father, the boyfriend declares, “I will definitely protect her,” but is immediately brushed off by the father.

The twist is that she is protected not by the boyfriend or the father, but by the apartment’s security system.

RenovationKoji Yakusho, Shinobu Otake

[CM] Daiwa House

This is the first Daiwa House commercial from 2019.

In this ad, Koji Yakusho runs around in a spacesuit, fleeing from a monster.

In the middle of all that, he gets a call from his wife.

No matter how much he tells her how busy he is, she doesn’t get it and happily keeps talking about remodeling.

Maybe that’s how a lot of dads feel out there (lol).

As for the “wife on the phone,” her identity was kept secret when the commercial first aired, and Daiwa House even ran a campaign asking, “Whose voice is Koji Yakusho talking to on the phone?” It was later revealed that it was Shinobu Otake.

D-Room: “When you get home, Golden Bomber” EditionJuri Ueno, Golden Bomber

Juri Ueno Kanabun? Daiwa House D-room commercial

This is the D-room security rental series commercial, “When I Got Home, It Was Golden Bomber,” featuring Juri Ueno.

Juri comes home to a dark apartment and breathes a sigh of relief, thinking, “Good, they didn’t come today.” But then the lights snap on and, with a chorus of “Welcome home!”, the members of Golden Bomber appear.

That alone is a huge impact, but the room is total chaos: a champagne tower, Darvish wearing her dress without permission, graffiti on the walls—everything’s a complete mess.

Even if you kick them out, they show up again—something that totally seems possible with Golden Bomber (lol).

D-Room “Kamen Rider” VersionJuri Ueno, Kamen Rider

Nice CM Daiwa House D-room Juri Ueno “Kamen Rider” version

This is a Daiwa House commercial featuring Juri Ueno alongside generations of Kamen Riders.

As Juri Ueno starts living on her own, she asks the past Kamen Riders to protect her room.

When Kamen Rider No.

1 says, “I must protect the peace of the world…,” Juri shyly asks him to protect her bathroom instead—so cute! The surreal sight of all the Kamen Riders gathered in a stylish café gives the commercial a great vibe.

“Here, together” – Lies EditionEri Fukatsu, Lily Franky

Daiwa House Commercial 'Together Here' Lies Version (90 seconds)

This is the “Lie” episode from the commercial series “Here, Together,” in which Lily Franky and Eri Fukatsu play a married couple.

They’re both busy with work, and one day the husband comes home having found a kitten.

The wife diligently cares for the kitten.

As they chat about how the kitten is gradually getting livelier, it’s revealed that the kitten was actually a gift from the husband to cheer up his downcast wife.

The fact that his little lie is already seen through adds to the gentle, touching feel of this commercial and makes you think they’re a lovely couple.

Kyoto: The Way of the BowShinobu Otake

This is a commercial from Daiwa House’s Co-Creation, Co-Existence series.

This particular spot features Kyoto’s traditional bow-making and the art of Kyudo (Japanese archery).

It focuses on the concept of “Do,” the path or way that has existed in Japan since ancient times—asking what exactly “the Way” means in the context of Kyudo.

The CM features master bow craftsman Kanju Shibata, conveying the spirit of craftsmanship and his deep feelings toward the bow.

Self-sufficiencyTori Matsuzaka, Risa Oda

091: “Self-Sufficiency” Edition — Daiwa House

The commercial “Self-Sufficiency,” featuring Tori Matsuzaka and known for its comedic flair, has been getting a lot of buzz.

In the ad, Matsuzaka, who has a sudden awakening—“My wife is pregnant, so I want to live in a way that’s kind to the planet”—resolves to live self-sufficiently and tries all sorts of things.

He experiments with water, livestock, farming, and more, but the results are… well, let’s just say that in the end, he ends up relying only on a solar power system.

It’s funny to watch Matsuzaka start with a natural-living mindset and gradually, even in appearance, transform into something like a caveman.
