When You Wish Upon A StarLeigh Harline

We Wish You a Merry Christmas (Arrangement)
In the Christmas commercial for the 35th anniversary of Tokyo Disney Resort, the famous Christmas song “We Wish You a Merry Christmas” was used.
Alongside the park’s dazzling holiday scenes, the song—which wishes that a joyful Christmas comes to you—fills you with happiness! While the beginning of the song indeed sings about enjoying a wonderful Christmas and welcoming a good new year, the verses from the second onward are a bit different.
Starting with the second verse, it passionately pleads for “Christmas pudding,” the traditional British Christmas cake, saying, essentially, that they just really want to eat it.
You don’t often get to hear the verses beyond the first, but do pay attention to those later lyrics if you can!

The smartphone game TWISTED-WONDERLAND is themed around Disney villains.
It became a major hit, also drawing attention because Yana Toboso—known as the creator of Black Butler—handled the original concept, main scenario, and character design.
Its theme song, Piece of my world, is performed by Night Ravens, a special unit formed through a collaboration between the dance-vocal group Gingadan and the Sendai-based boys’ group TEAM ZENRYOKU.

“It’s a Small World” is an attraction found in many Disney parks around the world.
This popular ride takes you on a dreamlike journey where children from various countries dance, and it’s suitable even for young kids.
At Tokyo Disneyland, it underwent a major renovation in 2018, adding characters such as those from Aladdin and Frozen to the attraction.
Naturally, the commercial that aired during the renovation featured the theme song, “It’s a Small World.” This attraction lets you enjoy a world tour accompanied by that music just by visiting Disney, and it can make even adults feel happy.
