We Wish You a Merry Christmas (Arrangement)
In the Christmas commercial for the 35th anniversary of Tokyo Disney Resort, the famous Christmas song “We Wish You a Merry Christmas” was used.
Alongside the park’s dazzling holiday scenes, the song—which wishes that a joyful Christmas comes to you—fills you with happiness! While the beginning of the song indeed sings about enjoying a wonderful Christmas and welcoming a good new year, the verses from the second onward are a bit different.
Starting with the second verse, it passionately pleads for “Christmas pudding,” the traditional British Christmas cake, saying, essentially, that they just really want to eat it.
You don’t often get to hear the verses beyond the first, but do pay attention to those later lyrics if you can!

Soaring: Fantastic Flight is an attraction at Tokyo DisneySea that opened in 2019.

Its theme song, Piece of my world, is performed by Night Ravens, a special unit formed through a collaboration between the dance-vocal group Gingadan and the Sendai-based boys’ group TEAM ZENRYOKU.
