Look younger with 7 face yoga exercisesNEW!

As we get older, it’s only natural to worry about sagging and wrinkles.
So let’s give face yoga a try.
Here are seven movements to practice.
The first half focuses on rejuvenation, and the second half also stimulates the brain.
You’ll jut your lips forward, move them side to side, and move your eyes as well.
Each move is simple, so take your time and follow along.
The more seriously you do it, the funnier your face will look—so get ready for lots of laughs.
2-Minute Fascia Release to Erase Nasolabial FoldsNEW!

You’ve probably heard the term “fascia release” at least once.
It’s a treatment that loosens adhesions and twists in the fascia covering the muscles to restore flexibility.
What I’m introducing today is a fascia release you can easily do at home that can make your nasolabial folds practically disappear.
After massaging both sides of your nose, next gently rock back and forth under the cheekbones to loosen the area.
Then press firmly with your thumbs on the outermost cheek muscles to release them.
As you relax the muscles across your entire face like this, you may find yourself naturally smiling.
A rejuvenating, plastic-surgery-level lymphatic massageNEW!

This massage improves lymphatic flow to reduce facial puffiness.
If you do it before bed, your face should feel refreshed when you wake up.
It’s also effective for those concerned about looking older.
Start by kneading the lymph nodes below the ears to flush out built-up waste.
Next, press under the chin with your fingers to target the jawline.
The key is to work from the chin toward the ears.
After that, continue with simple motions, so try doing it while chatting or watching TV.

Facial sagging improvement & prevention exercisesNEW!

When your face sags, your expression can look gloomy and it just isn’t fun, right? For people like that, I recommend this exercise to reduce facial sagging.
First, lift your head and press around the base of your neck and along the edges of your face to improve circulation.
Also, while keeping your head lifted, shape your mouth like saying “u,” and tilt your head to the left and right.
By doing this kind of stretch—lifting the head combined with movements you don’t usually make—you can reduce facial sagging, so if you’re concerned, please give it a try.
Taking photos before and after may help boost your motivation.
Oral exercises / Swallowing exercisesNEW!

Older adults tend to cough or choke more often as they age.
To help prevent this, let’s move the muscles around the face.
Start by tilting your head forward and backward to stretch the muscles, and massage under the chin with your fingers.
This will relieve muscle tension and help your body relax.
Next, strengthen the muscles around the mouth with tongue movements and vocal exercises.
Doing these before meals is effective, so please remember them and incorporate them into your daily routine.
When practicing vocal exercises in crowded places, it’s recommended to wear a mask.
Smiley Smiley Exercises that Make You Smile

This is a smiling exercise that not only activates the brain but also strengthens the facial muscles that create a lovely smile.
While saying “ni-ko ni-ko,” make a scissor hand shape on “ni” and an open hand on “ko.” After that, flash your best smile—one where you lift the corners of your mouth as high as you can.
You can increase the difficulty by adding hand claps or by doing different actions with each hand, such as the right hand open and the left hand scissor.
Laughter is an important element for healthy living.
Let’s support the mental and physical health of older adults with exercises that bring out smiles.
Gymnastics with face rock-paper-scissors

We’d like to introduce “face rock-paper-scissors,” which also helps train facial muscles and stimulates the brain.
Decide facial expressions that match the shapes of rock, scissors, and paper.
For example, for rock, you can close your eyes, purse your lips, and puff out your cheeks to form the shape with your face.
It’s fun to think up “rock, scissors, paper” together with older adults.
It could become an original, personalized version of face rock-paper-scissors.
Playing it normally will likely be lively, but we also recommend the “after-the-fact” version.
First, a staff member makes one of rock, scissors, or paper with their face, and then the older adults respond with a facial expression that “wins” or “loses” accordingly.
Thinking about which face to make helps activate the brain.
