Rising HopeLiSA

This is LiSA’s fifth single overall, released in May 2014.
It was used as the opening theme for the TV anime The Irregular at Magic High School.
The track features an up-tempo, metallic arrangement and showcases LiSA’s very powerful, dynamic vocals.
The vocal melody is centered in the high register, which on its own should make it clear that singing this song at karaoke requires strong vocal ability.
If you’re proud of your high notes, it’s an ideal choice—so give it a try.
Just be careful not to sing by tensing and squeezing your throat; not only will that make it impossible to reproduce the song’s dynamism, it could also lead to vocal strain.
Biting the second handzutto mayonaka de ii no ni.

Is it a solo act or not? Everything about Zutto Mayonaka de Ii no ni.’s first digital single is shrouded in a veil of mystery.
A barrage of words riding on a tricky rhythm, piercing high notes that sound like they’re coming from the top of your head—this song is full of challenging elements.
But there’s no need to overthink it! If you read the lyrics carefully and really tune into the backing rhythm, you’ll be able to sing it coolly too!

No Makeup Star feat. UtaJenīhai

Jenny High is a band formed by an unconventional lineup.
Though it started as a project-based band, its exceptionally high musicality has earned it popularity, and they consistently energize the scene with high-quality releases.
This track, No Make Star feat.
Uta, features a collaboration between Jenny High and Uta, known from Wednesday Campanella.
While it doesn’t present straightforward difficulties like a wide vocal range, it does require a fairly high level of expressiveness—such as incorporating slight shouts and singing with a sultry tone.
Shooting starieiri reo

It’s Leo Ieiri’s ninth digital-only single, released in August 2023.
It’s an upbeat and exhilarating track, isn’t it? The powerful vocals she delivers in this song are truly worthy of praise.
The most important thing when singing this piece is, above all, to keep that powerful energy going throughout.
There’s a section that’s sung very fast starting around the end of the first chorus, so even in parts like that, be sure to articulate each word clearly so they don’t get jumbled.
passwordAliA

A digital single by the rock band Alia, released in October 2023.
It was selected as the ending theme for the TV anime “Kimizero.” AYAME, who sings for Alia, is an impressive vocalist with a bright, radiant high range; she skillfully switches between powerful chest-voice highs and gentle falsetto depending on the section of the song to express the music.
The track itself is an upbeat, very catchy number, so I highly recommend it for women confident in their high notes to enjoy singing at karaoke.
Listen closely to the original to study where and how each type of vocal production is used before you sing!
HADASHi NO STEPLiSA

This is LiSA’s 19th single, released on September 8, 2021.
The lyrics were written by LiSA herself.
It was also chosen as the theme song for TBS’s Tuesday drama “Promise Cinderella.” Although LiSA has a slightly husky voice, she skillfully switches between a powerful chest voice and a soft falsetto to deliver high-tone vocals.
If you can fully recreate this in karaoke, you’ll surely draw attention from those around you.
Also, the song has a slightly bouncy rhythm, so sing it in a way that keeps its lightness while still being powerful!
PresenceSuperfly

A digital download single by Superfly released in August 2022.
It was newly written as the opening theme for the second cour of the anime Aoashi, which began airing on July 2 of the same year.
I’m sure everyone is already well aware of Shiho Ochi’s outstanding vocal ability, but her voice and expressive power seem to have become even more refined since her major debut in 2007.
She has always been known for her powerful and dynamic singing, but even the softer vocals heard in this song are increasingly convincing.
Recreating this in karaoke will be quite challenging, but it’s a track I’d love for confident female singers to try.
Practice producing a soft and gentle falsetto that never sounds weak!
