Gaidaifest | Kyoto University of Foreign StudiesNov 2 (Sun) – 3 (Mon), Kyoto Prefecture
At Kyoto University of Foreign Studies, the Gaida Festival is held every year over the long weekend at the beginning of November. Each year, a comedy live show featuring entertainers from Yoshimoto Kogyo is staged. The mobile petting zoo held on the athletic field every year is a popular event for both children and adults.

Otemae Festival | Otemae University (Sakura Shukugawa Campus)Nov 2 (Sun) – 3 (Mon), Hyogo Prefecture
This is the school festival of Otemae University in Hyogo Prefecture. The festival is packed with attractions, including outdoor stage events, food stalls, a gourmet grand prix, a karaoke contest, and a borrowing race, making it a very appealing event. There will also be activities for young children, so families with kids should be able to enjoy it as well.

The Shirasagi Festival is held every autumn at Osaka Metropolitan University’s Nakamozu Campus. Every year it draws many visitors from the local community and bustles with activity. On stage, there are club-organized programs, and comedy shows liven up the event as well. Each year, the campus is decorated according to a specific theme.

The Ikoma Festival, held at Kindai University’s Higashi-Osaka Campus, is a school festival with a 70-year history. Every year, it features comedy shows and charity concerts, and a portion of the proceeds from the charity concert goods and other sales is donated to the Japanese Red Cross Society. In addition, there are many student-organized events.

Geidai Festival | Kyoto City University of ArtsSat 11/1 – Mon 11/3, Kyoto Prefecture

Trias Festival | Kyoto Prefectural University of MedicineNov 1 (Sat) – 2 (Sun), Kyoto Prefecture
This is the annual cultural festival held by Kyoto Prefectural University of Medicine around its founding day on November 1. It is organized by the Trias Festival Executive Committee, mainly composed of fourth-year medical students and second-year nursing students. In addition to events hosted by various clubs, the festival features a wide variety of programs such as “Mysterious,” a heart-fluttering project by six cute nursing students, and a talk show by Kenji Moriwaki.
