Kiirokasai | Nara University of EducationSat 11/22 – Sun 11/23, Nara Prefecture
This is the university festival of Nara University of Education, called the Kibo Festival (Kibosai). In addition to food stalls, live performances by light music clubs, and research presentations, Nara University of Education also hosts a child-friendly event characteristic of an education university: the Children’s Festival. The activities organized by aspiring schoolteachers are something to really look forward to.

Momoyama Festival | Momoyama Gakuin UniversityNov 21 (Fri)–23 (Sun), Osaka Prefecture
It’s the school festival at Momoyama University in Osaka. There will be plenty of comedy and music performances, as well as many food and game stalls. There’s also a children’s event called “Momotan: Momoyama Expedition,” so it’s a festival recommended for families with young kids.

November Festival | Kyoto UniversityNov 21 (Fri) – 24 (Mon), Kyoto Prefecture
Commonly known as the NF, it is held over four days in late November at Kyoto University’s Yoshida Campus. In the plaza in front of the Seibu Auditorium, where the atmosphere remains just as it was back in the day, student club bands perform live. It’s a large-scale university festival that also features live shows and performances by clubs in various classrooms, as well as a variety of food and activity stalls.

EVE | Doshisha Women’s College of Liberal ArtsFri 11/21–Sun 11/23, Kyoto Prefecture
This is a campus festival held at Doshisha Women’s College Imadegawa Campus. In addition to talk shows and a bingo tournament, there will also be workshops. A Yoshimoto comedy live show will also be held.
