Tachibana Festival | Kyoto Tachibana UniversitySat 11/8 – Sun 11/9, Kyoto Prefecture

It’s the autumn campus festival at Kyoto Tachibana University. One of the events, the “T-1 Grand Prix,” is a competition where participants showcase comedy skits, impersonations, and manzai routines to see who’s the funniest. There are prizes for the winners, which makes it even more exciting. Of course, just walking around the campus is plenty of fun too!

The Kyoto University of Education’s campus festival, commonly known as the Tōryō Festival, will be held again this year. Under each year’s theme, it features a children’s amusement park that changes its look, as well as other kids’ programs. As a yearly tradition, comedians from Yoshimoto also make an appearance.
