This is the school festival of Himeji University, which opened in 2007. Its main attraction is stage events featuring stand-up comedians, well-known artists, and a variety of other guests. “Nojigiku” is the name of a flower that blooms abundantly in Himeji City, and the festival appears to take its title from it.

This is the university festival of Nara University of Education, called the Kibo Festival (Kibosai). In addition to food stalls, live performances by light music clubs, and research presentations, Nara University of Education also hosts a child-friendly event characteristic of an education university: the Children’s Festival.
