The familiar commercial jingle for Ito Onsen’s Hotel Hatoya—“Call 4126”—is the work of two big names: lyrics by Akiyuki Nosaka and music by Tak Izumi.

Thanks to a certain metropolitan governor, Hotel Mikazuki has become famous nationwide.

Surprisingly, the CM song’s lyrics were written by hit-maker Akira Ito, and the music was composed by Juichi Sase of “Oyoge! Taiyaki-kun” fame.

The vocalist is unknown, but “crescent” is the English word for “mikazuki” (a waxing crescent moon).
