Pop-up card that only needs a single cut

But with this idea, you can create one just by cutting a circle and leaving about 1 centimeter on the left and right uncut! All you need are rectangular sheets of construction paper for the base and the pop-up mechanism, plus cherry blossom pieces for decoration.
First, fold both the base and mechanism papers in half.
Then draw a large circle in the center of the mechanism paper and cut it out, leaving a small section on the left and right uncut.
Attach this to the base, and your pop-up card is complete.
Decorate the inside and outside of the circle with cherry blossoms and add a message to finish.

A bouquet is an essential gift for celebrations.
So why not handcraft a card with a bouquet motif? You can make it with a base that looks like wrapping paper and some flower parts.
For the wrapping paper, cut construction paper into a semicircle, then fold the left and right sides inward imagining an inverted triangle.
Cut the flower parts out of construction paper and make them look vibrant.
By making the flower centers the same color, you can create a sense of unity even if the petals are colorful.
Attach the flower parts to the upper center of the base, write your message below, fold the base closed, and you’re done!

You can make it using just construction paper! This is a handmade idea for a card with photos that pop out.
You’ll use construction paper for the card base, the popping mechanism’s axis, and an accordion-folded strip to attach the photos.
In this idea, by adding a cross-shaped crease at the center of the mechanism’s axis and cleverly attaching the axis to the accordion-folded paper, the photos can be neatly stored inside.
The process is simple and doesn’t take much time.

A pull-to-pop-out card
Here’s a cute card where Miffy pops out from a bouquet.

To make it, firmly score an index card or colored paper with folds vertically, horizontally, and diagonally, then cut it into a heart shape.
Prepare four of these in different colors.
Once ready, glue them side by side onto the backing paper.
Attach hearts in the same four colors to the band as the flowers inside, wrap the band around the outside of the card, and it’s done.

Fold a sheet of construction paper in half and make vertical cuts from the folded edge.
Use each cut as the base and crease an inverted triangle to complete the pop-up mechanism.
Open the sheet with the mechanism and glue it onto a base, then cover the triangles with flowers made using a craft punch—and you’re done! If you’re incorporating it into a preschool graduation certificate, writing a graduation message on the triangular sections would be lovely.
