Pop-up photo card

How about making a pop-up card that, when opened, spins around and reveals a big message or photo? You might think it sounds difficult, but the core pop-up mechanism is just folding and gluing a rectangular piece of paper.
The creases are a bit detailed, but the way it pops out is very dynamic.
How about sticking on a memorable photo so it jumps out at you when you open the card? You could also write a message on the base paper.
Easy Message Cards with Paint and Masking Tape

Here’s an idea for decorating a blank message card using masking tape and paint.
Place a strip of masking tape across the center of the card to create a line, then dab paint over it using a tissue.
After that, peel off the tape to reveal a space where you can write your message.
You can also use the same method to add color and then customize it further by drawing illustrations.
Since the color palette is key, aim for your ideal combination of hues.
A card with potted flowers that pop out

Let’s make a card that reveals a pop-up flowerpot and a big flower when you open it.
Prepare two sheets of construction paper for the base, and cut a slit for the flowerpot in one of them.
This will create the pop-up flowerpot.
Fold and cut construction paper to make the flower that will sit in the center of the card, then insert it into the pop-up flowerpot and glue it in place.
Try adding your own touches, like making a butterfly near the flower or decorating the flowerpot with polka dots.
Children are sure to feel delighted by this bright, cheerful card with a big flower.
Swirling Rose Message Card

Here, I’ll introduce a message card designed like a bouquet of roses made by rolling paper.
Start by making the base, then create the envelope, and finally make the roses.
For the roses, cut colored construction paper into circles, then cut each circle into a spiral.
Use a toothpick to roll it up from the outer edge.
Once rolled, glue the end to secure it.
Insert the base into the envelope, arrange the roses in a balanced way, and fix them in place to finish.
Adding leaves makes it even cuter.
It turns out very luxurious, so definitely give it a try!
Hand-drawn illustration card

Message cards adorned with hand-drawn illustrations make it easy for each teacher to express their own personality and feelings.
Their warmth, which is different from more elaborate creations, will surely come across to the children as well.
In addition to graduation-themed designs, it’s wonderful to add a special touch by drawing things related to each child’s memories or their favorite things.
As you make them, countless memories are sure to come rushing back—these simple yet love-filled message cards are a perfect way to convey your affection to the children.
Bouquet message card

These are adorable message cards shaped like flower bouquets! There are two ideas: one where you open the bouquet to find space inside to write a message, and another where each flower sticking out of the bouquet is its own message card.
The bouquet motif is perfect for graduation ceremonies at kindergartens.
They’re so cute to display that they’ll surely become keepsake message cards you’ll want to treasure forever.
If you craft the flower and leaf parts in a three-dimensional way, like with origami techniques, the result will look even more polished!
A card popping out of a box

Here’s a card that features a cute character popping out of a box.
Just seeing a gift box—like the ones you get for birthdays or Christmas—can make some children feel excited, right? This message card is shaped like a present, and it has an extra surprise: when you open the card, a character pops out.
You make a slit in a single card and insert a backing sheet with a construction-paper character attached to it.
That completes the pop-up mechanism.
Decorate the card with stickers or washi tape to make it even more charming.
