Recommended karaoke songs for male vocalists with high voices (201–210)
Brilliant RainKing Gnu

This is King Gnu’s sixth digital single, released in July 2022.
Vocalist Satoru Iguchi, known for masterfully using his versatile high tones to deliver stunning performances, showcases his appeal to the fullest in this track as well, brilliantly handling a vocal melody with a very wide range that shifts dynamically.
His use of different vocal techniques—chest voice, falsetto, and mixed voice—is truly superb; it’s practically a “showcase of high-tone vocals.” As such, it’s a very difficult song to sing for most people, but men with naturally higher voices have already cleared the first hurdle! Be sure to study the original carefully and then show off the charm of your own voice.
single-minded; wholehearted; devoted; earnestKing Gnu

This is King Gnu’s fourth single, released on December 29, 2021.
It was also chosen as the theme song for the animated film Jujutsu Kaisen 0, which premiered in theaters on December 24, 2021.
I think the rapid-fire, almost rapped vocal delivery makes it a very cool, up-tempo rock track.
While the arrangement is highly aggressive, the vocals layered over the backing track never become overly provocative—that contrast is part of King Gnu’s appeal.
If you want to sing this well at karaoke, the number one priority is not falling behind the song’s tempo and rhythm.
In that sense, it might be better to memorize the lyrics before you sing.
Also, in the higher sections, try to place your falsetto firmly against the inside of your upper palate to produce a tone rich in higher overtones.
star performerKing Gnu

This is the sixth single by the Japanese crossover band King Gnu, released in December 2020.
It was also written as a song for NTT Docomo’s 5G commercials, so many of you have probably heard it on TV ads.
Because the vocals race through the entire track at a rapid-fire pace, it’s tricky to sing for reasons beyond simply having a high voice, and especially the A melody and the chorus parts feature a very ‘masculine’ vocal style.
That said, the use of falsetto lines that pop in like call-and-response is a great showcase for men with high ranges and those skilled at falsetto.
Be sure to study the song well and give it a try!
sign; mark; symbol; omenMr.Children

Mr.Children’s 29th single, released in November 2006.
Rather than having a naturally high, feminine timbre, Sakurai has a thicker, more masculine voice, yet he’s also skilled at hitting high notes.
So as a song for a male singer, this might actually rank among the most difficult.
While he basically sings with a full, robust tone, his use of a delicate falsetto—like at the end of the chorus in this track—is so exquisite that “brilliant!” is the only word for it.
If you sing it at karaoke, that spot will be the key section, so be careful not to let your falsetto turn weak and wobbly—pay close attention and give it a proper try.
MagicMrs. GREEN APPLE

A digital-only track by Mrs.
GREEN APPLE, released in June 2023.
It was reportedly written specifically for a Coca-Cola TV commercial.
The bright, refreshing musical feel pairs perfectly with Motoki Omori’s boyish singing voice, rich in higher overtones, making it a track that truly matches Coca-Cola’s image.
Being able to sing a song like this comfortably at karaoke might be a special privilege for men with naturally high chest voices.
If the rhythm of your singing gets heavy, the original song’s refreshing vibe will be lost, so try to keep your delivery as light and lively as possible throughout.
Also, practice smooth transitions into falsetto for the higher notes in the chorus and give it a try.
For the final chorus, which is sung in high chest voice, do your best to avoid constricting your throat and sing with openness and freedom.
Que sera, seraMrs. GREEN APPLE

This is Mrs.
GREEN APPLE’s seventh digital-only single, released in April 2023.
It was produced as the theme song for the ABC TV/TV Asahi drama series “Even Sundays Are About This Much…”.
From the very beginning, Motoki Omori’s powerful high-tone voice bursts in, making it a perfect pick for high-voice male singers at karaoke! Listening through the entire track, vocalist Omori skillfully switches between chest voice and falsetto to express each section of the song, and that appropriate, smooth transition between registers is a key point for singing this one well.
Be sure to listen closely to the original and study up before you sing!
Sunny dropNovelbright

This is Novelbright’s third digital-only single, released in August 2020.
The song starts right off with the chorus, and it’s an incredibly captivating track that showcases vocalist Yudai Takenaka’s piercing high tones.
Takenaka is a singer with a beautifully controlled falsetto and great technique, but his powerful, cutting high notes in chest voice are especially compelling.
If you’re a man confident in your upper range, definitely give it a try at karaoke!
