Indeed “Sanji Recipe Development” EditionTakumi Saitoh, Rika Izumi, Daigo (Chidori), Hiroyuki Ikeuchi, Yosuke Kubozuka

Yosuke Kubozuka as Sanji: “What’s for dinner?” indeed × ONE PIECE CM “Sanji Recipe Development” (30 seconds)

This commercial became a huge topic at the end of 2018 when Indeed achieved a miraculous collaboration with the wildly popular series ONE PIECE.

In addition to the familiar faces of Takumi Saitoh, Rika Izumi, and Daigo from the comedy duo Chidori, Hiroyuki Ikeuchi and Yosuke Kubozuka also appear, giving it a special feel.

It’s also pretty funny that Chopper is portrayed as a full-on reindeer.

Indeed New TV Commercial: 'Chopper Assistant' Edition

This is the hugely popular ONE PIECE version of Indeed’s commercial.

Takumi Saitoh plays Luffy, Rika Izumi plays Nami, Daigo from Chidori plays Usopp, Hiroyuki Ikeuchi plays Zoro, and Yosuke Kubozuka plays Sanji—casting that makes you go, “What is this? Isn’t this way too luxurious?” It’s impossible to imagine the Straw Hat crew job hunting, but their oddly solemn conversation is unintentionally hilarious.

And what exactly does the role titled “Chopper: Assistant” even do?

Indeed “Part-time Job Search” Version

Takumi Saitoh starring – Job Hunting Edition / “Indeed” CM 2

This is a popular Indeed series in which Takumi Saitoh and Rika Izumi play people working in various occupations.

In this commercial, in addition to an apron like a café staff uniform and an amusement park mascot costume, they also appear as a pompadour-wearing carpenter and in outfits reminiscent of traditional ethnic clothing.

These two truly look good in anything they wear.

The commercial showcases the impressive versatility of the pair, who also thrive as models.

Indeed “Hula Hoop” VersionTakumi Saitoh, Rika Izumi

This is an Indeed commercial featuring Takumi Saitoh fiddling with his smartphone while singing, and Rika Izumi hula-hooping.

Saitoh is surprised that Indeed is recognized not only in Japan but around the world and tries to share the news with Izumi, but since she’s hula-hooping, she looks a bit annoyed.

Saitoh’s “Oops, my bad” reaction is pretty funny.

Indeed New CM: Recruiting Straw Hat Crew - “Now Hiring” Campaign

This is the “Now Recruiting the Straw Hat Crew – During Campaign” commercial that made waves for its bold live-action take on the hugely popular national anime One Piece.

In this version, a reindeer playing Chopper takes center stage, leading to a brief exchange sparked by Rika Izumi, who plays Nami and interprets for the reindeer.

You’d think the reindeer playing Chopper was CGI, but it appears they used a real reindeer, which really conveys the creators’ level of commitment.
