I think there are quite a few people who aren’t good with karaoke, but sometimes you just can’t turn it down because of social obligations.
What’s more, there may be situations where, once you go, you can’t get away without singing at least one song.
So, I’m going to introduce some short songs that are easy to sing even for those who aren’t comfortable with karaoke!
Most of the songs I’m about to introduce are a little over three minutes long, but some are around two minutes.
Long songs can be tough for people who aren’t confident about singing, but you might be able to manage a short one!
Also, feel free to use this as a reference when choosing the final song as your room time is about to run out.

It’s not loveDAZBEE

DAZBEE is a Korean singer who has gained popularity for her perfect pronunciation and sexy vocals.
If you’re not familiar with her, you might have thought she was Japanese.
Among her songs, one I especially recommend is “Not Love.” It’s a short track, about 2 minutes and 15 seconds long, and the vocal line is generally kept at a low difficulty level.
If you find the original challenging, try singing it in a key that suits you.
TravelersOfisharu Higedan Dism

Known by the nickname “Higedan,” Official HIGE DANDism is a four-piece piano pop band that has churned out hit after hit with their impactful melodies and songs.
This track, included on their first album “Traveler,” is under two minutes long, yet it’s packed with the band’s charm and musical depth.
With its melodic rises and falls and irregular rhythms, it’s not an easy song, but if you can nail it despite its brevity, you’re sure to earn respect.
It’s also an easy pick as a warm-up before singing other Higedan songs, making it a recommended choice even for those who aren’t confident at karaoke.
confessionMy Hair is Bad

One of the most popular songs by My Hair is Bad, a three-piece rock band that enjoys immense popularity in the Japanese rock scene.
Kicking off with an eye-catching drum phrase and maintaining a powerful sense of speed throughout, this track blazes by in just about two minutes.
What’s more, there’s a relatively long instrumental section in the middle, leaving even fewer opportunities to sing.
The vocal melody has intricate rhythms, so it’s tough to sing if you don’t already know the song.
But if you like their music and aren’t confident in your singing—or prefer not to sing long songs—give this one a try!
So Let’s Get TruthMr.Children

It’s a refreshing song with a light, upbeat rhythm, and it’s a short piece of about a minute and a half.
The length makes it easy to sing at karaoke, so I highly recommend it! However, the lyrics are imbued with criticism and irony toward modern society, reflecting Kazutoshi Sakurai’s meticulous craft.
It can be called a hidden gem.
Make you happyNiziU

NiziU has drawn a lot of attention ever since their pre-debut project launch show.
This song, “Make you happy,” was released as a pre-debut track before their official debut.
Even though it was labeled as pre-debut, it naturally became a hot topic and is widely known across different age groups—you often hear it on TV and around town.
The song is about three minutes long, so it’s on the shorter side.
It’s one of those tracks that you can’t help but hum along to, and you could even just go ahead and dance to it and get the excitement going!
