Easter Bunny mask

This is an Easter Bunny mask made from a paper plate.

Cut the paper plate in half and punch out round holes for the eyes.

Then stick a round sticker on for the nose and attach large ear pieces—your quick and easy bunny mask is ready! Add a personal touch by attaching a bow made from origami paper or small flowers made from tissue paper.

You can also add a string to wear it around the neck or a band to help it fit snugly on the face.

Bunny egg with footprint-shaped ears

Children’s little footprints transform into bunny ears! Paint the bottoms of their feet, make prints, cut around them, and combine them with an egg motif.

Teachers can prepare the egg part in advance, but with a bit of creativity—adding stickers, drawing with crayons or pens, or gluing torn paper for a collage effect—children can happily finish it themselves.

Handprints and footprints are proof of children’s growth.

After displaying them in the classroom, give them to parents—they’re sure to be delighted.

These days, a wide variety of masking tapes with different designs and colors are sold at general stores and stationery shops.

They also come in many sizes, so why not use them to make colorful Easter egg decorations? It’s a handmade Easter decoration to brighten up the spring holiday.

First, draw an egg on lightly colored construction paper.

Then, randomly stick on your favorite masking tapes—chosen from the ones you like—over the egg area.

It’s okay if they go beyond the lines.

Finally, cut along the outline of the egg, and your colorful Easter egg is complete.

Since you just stick the tape on freely, even small children can make it.

Stained glass-style Easter egg

Easter is an important spring celebration for Christians.

In Japan, it is called the Resurrection Festival and celebrates Christ’s resurrection.

Eggs are eaten and displayed as symbols of renewal, representing the breaking of the shell and the birth of new life.

Let’s make a handmade egg motif that’s essential for Easter.

We’ll create stained-glass-style Easter eggs using brightly colored cellophane and colored paper.

On a base with an egg-shaped cutout frame, layer cellophane or colored paper in your favorite color combinations.

It will look lovely even with a random arrangement, so go ahead and display it in your room as is.

Easter egg wreath

While Christmas in winter is an exciting event, spring brings Easter, a festival celebrating the resurrection of Christ.

Eggs and rabbits are well-known Easter motifs, and here we’ll share ideas for Easter wreaths made with them.

Arrange symbolic items stylishly on a ring-shaped base and create your own original Easter wreath.

If you prepare lots of motifs like various eggs and rabbits in advance and make them easy to stick on with tape, even small children can join in.

Let’s make a lively and fun wreath!

Easter basket

Let’s make handmade items for an Easter event.

At Easter parties, a game called an Easter egg hunt—where you look for eggs hidden all around—is very popular.

Try making a basket by hand to hold the eggs you find.

Prepare slightly thick, sturdy colored construction paper.

You’ll need to make it strong so it can hold lots of eggs without collapsing under the weight.

Add a handle to make the basket easy to use.

Once the shape is finished, decorate it however you like.

Use ribbons, stickers, and colored pens to make it bright and colorful, and you’re done.

Easter Bunny made with a bag and tissue paper

Let’s try making some handmade items that are simple, colorful, and cute—perfect for an Easter event.

Easter events are festivals that kids really look forward to.

Games like egg hunts, where you look for hidden eggs, and rooms decorated in bright colors help lift the mood.

The candy handed out at events is exciting, too.

Let’s wrap that candy in a cute way.

Put crumpled, colorful tissue paper into a clear small bag.

Tie the top of the bag, then cut the tied part to look like bunny ears.

Draw a face on the bag, and you’re done.

If you tuck in candies or chocolates, opening it will be even more fun.
