Super Easy Magic Tricks Kids Can Do! Fun Tricks You Can Play Right Away (61–70)
Potato Chips Switcheroo Magic

This is a magic trick where you hold a potato chips tube behind a paper bag to signal a change, and it swaps with a different flavor tube that was supposedly inside the bag.
You use two types of tubes, and you prepare a gimmick in advance on one of them, so be mindful of how you present it to avoid giving anything away.
The preparation involves attaching the outer label of a different flavor to half of the tube, so it’s important to remove and handle it in a way that doesn’t reveal the back half, along with a smooth wrist turn.
To prevent the gimmick from being discovered, it’s also a good idea to clean up quickly after performing the trick.
Pop a balloon with a cotton swab

This is a magic trick anyone can easily master: popping a balloon with a cotton swab.
As you’d expect, if you poke a balloon with something sharp, it will pop.
But if you poke it with something soft, like a cotton swab, it shouldn’t pop.
However, using a certain method, you can pop a balloon just by poking it with a cotton swab.
The trick is to soak the tip of the cotton swab in orange oil.
That’s because limonene, a component found in oranges, dissolves the balloon.
By the way, you can reproduce this not only with oil but also with an actual orange.
A jaw-dropping magic trick where a ring instantly links to a chain

Here’s a magic trick where a solid ring instantly penetrates a solid chain! You can use an ordinary ring and chain.
First, spread your index finger and thumb about 4 centimeters apart and hang the chain over them.
Next, hold the ring with your index finger and thumb, and support the ring with your middle finger as well.
Then place the chain inside the ring and lift upward.
Now, while pulling your thumb (the one holding the ring) toward you, let the ring drop…
and the chain and ring link together! It’s a classic, so once you master it, you’ll definitely get a wow!
Rope escape magic

If you want to amaze your friends with a simple trick, the Rope Escape Magic is perfect.
You only need two items: a string and a handkerchief.
Interlace your fingers tightly, tie both thumbs firmly with the string, and cover your hands with the handkerchief to hide them.
The key is to pull on the string with your thumbs while tying, leaving just a bit of slack.
It looks securely tied, but you can actually slip your hands out.
Fan your hands a little and say, “Whew, it’s a bit hot,” and you’ll start hearing, “Wait, did you get out?” along with murmurs and laughter.
It’s a trick anyone can master quickly—ideal for beginners.
Eraser that makes stars appear

No special preparation needed—here’s an eraser trick where a star appears.
All you need for this magic is a perfectly ordinary rectangular eraser.
Beforehand, draw a star on one of its faces.
Now you’re ready to begin.
First, show the eraser to your spectator, but with a deft twist of the wrist, make it look as if you’re showing both sides while actually showing only the same side.
Then simply flip the eraser over, and it will seem as though a star has suddenly appeared.
Of course, you can use a symbol other than a star if you like.
