Pop-up card that only needs a single cut

Pop-up cards often seem complicated, with lots of cuts to make.

But with this idea, you can create one just by cutting a circle and leaving about 1 centimeter on the left and right uncut! All you need are rectangular sheets of construction paper for the base and the pop-up mechanism, plus cherry blossom pieces for decoration.

First, fold both the base and mechanism papers in half.

Then draw a large circle in the center of the mechanism paper and cut it out, leaving a small section on the left and right uncut.

Attach this to the base, and your pop-up card is complete.

Decorate the inside and outside of the circle with cherry blossoms and add a message to finish.

A bouquet is an essential gift for celebrations.

So why not handcraft a card with a bouquet motif? You can make it with a base that looks like wrapping paper and some flower parts.

For the wrapping paper, cut construction paper into a semicircle, then fold the left and right sides inward imagining an inverted triangle.

Cut the flower parts out of construction paper and make them look vibrant.

By making the flower centers the same color, you can create a sense of unity even if the petals are colorful.

Attach the flower parts to the upper center of the base, write your message below, fold the base closed, and you’re done!

You can make it using just construction paper! This is a handmade idea for a card with photos that pop out.

You’ll use construction paper for the card base, the popping mechanism’s axis, and an accordion-folded strip to attach the photos.

In this idea, by adding a cross-shaped crease at the center of the mechanism’s axis and cleverly attaching the axis to the accordion-folded paper, the photos can be neatly stored inside.

The process is simple and doesn’t take much time.

Use your favorite colors of construction paper and your memorable photos to create a special handmade card!

Fun to make, beautiful to wear! These ideas are perfect for crafting with kids.

You’ll need wired organza ribbon, an awl, extra-strong double-sided fabric tape, scissors, tinsel stems (aurora ties), pearl beads, patch pins, felt, cardboard, and more.

Be careful not to get injured by protruding wires when cutting the wire or tinsel stems.

The combination of organza and pearls creates a glamorous and cute finish! Be sure to give it a try.

Curly! Ribbon Rose Corsage

Flat ribbons transform into three-dimensional roses! This corsage idea is great because it comes together with simple steps.

You’ll need 3 cm-wide ribbon, a thick sewing needle, a lighter, scissors, and an awl.

The process is straightforward, but be careful to use the tools correctly.

If you’re a teacher planning to make these with children, it’s best to work one-on-one with each child.

The roses alone are lovely, but try arranging them with lace or pearls for an extra touch!

The gentle three-dimensional texture that highlights the fabric’s feel makes tsumami-zaiku corsages perfect for special occasions like graduation ceremonies.

Start by folding small pieces of fabric into delicate petals.

Arrange the finished petals in a circle to create a soft, rounded flower shape.

Though it involves a bit of fine work, choosing colors and deciding how to arrange them becomes an enjoyable time of thinking, “What should I do?” By combining felt, lace, and pearl-like embellishments, your corsage can take on many different looks.

Give it a try!

Gerbera corsage

@pprnarkn

For this year’s kindergarten graduation ceremony corsage, I arranged gerberas. They were too big as they were, so I removed the outer petals to make them smaller. Adding tulle makes it super cute ♥graduation ceremony (for kindergarten/preschool)Handmade#DAISOSeria

Mellow Mellow ♡ My Melody – My Melody

A charming corsage that links the language of flowers with heartfelt feelings.

Gerberas carry many positive meanings such as “hope,” “optimism,” and “always moving forward.” They’re the perfect flowers for a kindergarten graduation, as children take flight into the future with hope.

Each color also has its own meaning, so try creating yours while reflecting the children’s personalities and the message you want to convey.

Artificial flowers alone are adorable, but combining them with tulle or ribbon makes them even more glamorous!
