Bouquet made with construction paper

A real bouquet gift from current kindergarteners to graduates! Here’s how to make a cute bouquet out of construction paper.
Materials: colored construction paper, wood glue, double-sided tape, and colored pens.
First, draw a spiral on the colored paper.
After cutting it out, roll it up like a flower and secure it with wood glue.
Do the same with another sheet of colored paper by drawing a square-shaped spiral, cutting it out, and rolling it up.
Finally, attach the flowers to a backing sheet of colored paper with double-sided tape, draw the stems with colored pens, add a ribbon, and you’re done!
Mini basket bouquet

Make it with plastic bottle caps! Here’s how to craft a cute mini basket bouquet as a gift for preschool graduates.
First, attach double-sided tape around the side of a plastic bottle cap.
Fold any excess inward, then wrap embroidery thread around it so there are no gaps.
When you finish wrapping, apply double-sided tape to the bottom of the cap in the same way.
Secure the end with double-sided tape and trim it.
Next, make the handle.
Prepare six strands of embroidery thread, group them into three pairs, and braid them.
Attach the handle inside the cap, brush wood glue inside, and stuff it with cotton.
Sprinkle glitter on the cotton, then decorate with beads and ribbons to finish!
A surprise letter where you can attach photos!

Having a photo on the graduation certificate makes it even more memorable, doesn’t it? But simply sticking on a photo would be a waste! Create interactive elements for an album or gift to add a special touch.
All you need are construction paper and origami paper.
Cut the construction paper into strips, accordion-fold it, and attach a cover using your favorite origami paper to complete the album.
For the gift, fold a strip of construction paper in half and glue it, then attach origami paper to one side.
Make three of these, combine them so they slide vertically, and you’ll create a three-tier gift box effect.
Sitting Accessory Case

How about making a gift for the graduating children together with the current students? You’ll need: a paper carton, construction paper, a face photo, string, pom-poms, round stickers, ribbon, wood glue, and double-sided tape.
First, cut the carton to about half its height, leaving the back panel a bit longer.
Cut the construction paper to a size that can cover the carton and attach it with double-sided tape.
Put double-sided tape on the back of the construction paper as well, stick it onto the carton, and trim any excess.
Punch holes in the sides and front of the carton, and make four pom-poms with strings attached.
Trim the photo to fit the back panel of the carton and stick it on with double-sided tape.
Thread the pom-pom strings through the holes, add stickers and ribbon, and you’re done!
A pop-up card with a bouquet that sprouts up

When you lift the ribbon on the bouquet, a character pops out from among the flowers! The glamorous bouquet and delightful mechanism will further heighten the excitement of children celebrating their graduation from kindergarten.
Cut a vertical slit in the center of the bouquet’s base, then set a character with a tab attached to its back.
Thread the tab through the slit so it appears on the surface, and glue on the ribbon to complete the mechanism! For the flowers, it’s best to punch out identical shapes using a craft punch.
Choose the flower colors to match the character that appears, creating a unified look.
Bookmarks made with self-lamination

A gift from current students to graduates! Here’s how to make a cute bookmark.
Materials: self-laminating film, tissue paper, decorations like sequins, string, and twist ties.
First, tear the tissue paper into small pieces, stick the decorations onto the adhesive side of the laminating film, and cut it into a bookmark shape.
Punch a hole with a hole punch, thread a twist tie through, and you’re done! Adjust the steps—like tearing the tissue paper or placing the decorations—according to the children’s ages, and have fun making them together.

A pop-up card with a bouquet of cherry blossoms

We hope the cherry blossoms will be in bloom for the preschool graduation ceremony, but depending on the timing and the weather, they might not have opened yet or may have already fallen.
So how about a pop-up card featuring a bouquet of cherry blossoms that lets you give children the beauty of sakura no matter the conditions? It’s a three-dimensional piece made by turning paper-cut cherry blossoms into a bouquet.
I think this idea could be incorporated if you’re using a spread-style graduation certificate, so please feel free to use it as a reference.
Though it takes some effort, it will surely bring out the children’s wonderful, surprised smiles.
