You can make it using just construction paper! This is a handmade idea for a card with photos that pop out.
You’ll use construction paper for the card base, the popping mechanism’s axis, and an accordion-folded strip to attach the photos.
In this idea, by adding a cross-shaped crease at the center of the mechanism’s axis and cleverly attaching the axis to the accordion-folded paper, the photos can be neatly stored inside.
The process is simple and doesn’t take much time.
Use your favorite colors of construction paper and your memorable photos to create a special handmade card!
A single corsage with a message
@n.annlee321 I think a single-flower vase has the charm of letting you focus on one flower and cherish it. 😊💓 Single-flower corsage 🌸 I hope this is helpful. 🫶#100-yen shop DIY#100-yen store purchasesgraduation ceremony (for kindergarten/preschool)Graduation CeremonyChildcareNursery teacher / Childcare worker

It will become a cherished keepsake as a memorable item! It’s a wonderful idea that combines a message with a corsage.
What you’ll need are round origami paper, transparent origami paper, glue or adhesive, thick paper (cardstock), artificial flowers of your choice, double-sided tape, vinyl tape, safety pins, and so on.
It’s fun how the vibe changes depending on the patterns and colors of the origami, isn’t it? For the message, it’s also nice to have the children write about their dreams for the future.
Try incorporating it while enjoying the process of arranging it to your liking.
Card made using a craft punch

You’ve probably used craft punches for making things, right? You can find punches that cut out various shapes at 100-yen shops, and they’re easy to incorporate.
Let’s try decorating a card using these simple craft punches.
For a graduation-from-kindergarten theme, cherry blossom petals or flower-shaped punches would be perfect.
You can make a simple pop-up card just by cutting slits in the base, then glue on construction paper decorated with flowers and add a message—perfect for a card celebrating graduation.
Paper quilling card

Are you familiar with a decoration technique called paper quilling? To put it simply, it’s a method of rolling thin strips of paper to create various patterns.
Here, I’d like to introduce an idea for making a message card using paper quilling.
You wind the paper around a tool with a fine tip, and you can create not only circles but also shapes like teardrops and waves—any shape you can imagine.
Although it involves delicate work, using papers in various colors results in a vibrant, memorable card.

Bouquet message card

These are adorable message cards shaped like flower bouquets! There are two ideas: one where you open the bouquet to find space inside to write a message, and another where each flower sticking out of the bouquet is its own message card.
The bouquet motif is perfect for graduation ceremonies at kindergartens.
They’re so cute to display that they’ll surely become keepsake message cards you’ll want to treasure forever.
If you craft the flower and leaf parts in a three-dimensional way, like with origami techniques, the result will look even more polished!
Gimmick Card

There’s no one who wouldn’t be happy to receive this! It’s a handmade message card featuring heart-themed mechanisms.
There are all kinds of ideas, from simple, cute designs where you slip the card into a heart-shaped envelope, to ones with a pull tab that flips the card when you tug it.
With its adorable look and playful mechanisms, it’s perfect for reading or displaying—and it’s sure to delight! If you’re confident in your sense of style, this is your chance to show off your skills.
A card where a bear pops out

Message cards are delightful to receive on their own, but if it’s a card where a cute bear pops out of the present when you flip it open, the card itself is extra adorable and really stands out.
This card comes with a template, so you can paste the template onto construction paper and cut around it to easily prepare the materials.
You can draw the bear’s face however you like to add your personal touch.
Drawing it with your child’s likeness in mind might also be a hit.
You can practically see the joy on the children’s faces.
