So! We’ve selected recommended tracks specifically for men with deep voices.

Blow Your CoverNumber_i

Number_i is an idol group that enjoys overwhelming support from women.
In stark contrast to their King & Prince era, their striking, full-fledged hip-hop style stands out.
Even now, they’ve continued producing many hit tracks without fundamentally changing their approach.
Among their songs, one I especially recommend is Blow Your Cover.
Unlike most of their catalog, it’s a ballad centered on R&B, featuring a calm vocal line throughout.
Rather than focusing on deep bass, the track leans more into the low-mid range.
If you want your voice to resonate more, try placing your hand in front of your mouth and check whether you’re phonating with airflow (breath) present.
If you can feel it, you’re producing overtones; aim to maintain that state as you sing.
astronomical observationBUMP OF CHICKEN

BUMP OF CHICKEN’s songs are generally easy to sing because the vocalist/guitarist Motoo Fujiwara’s key is on the lower side.
However, for this particular song, the A and B sections are said to be difficult for people with higher voices, so it seems to be an easy song to sing for men with lower voices.
Like tonight’s moonElefanto Kashimashi

A classic song released by Elephant Kashimashi in 1997 as their 15th single.
The key is stable overall, making it easy to sing, and since Elephant Kashimashi’s songs are characterized by somewhat masculine lyrics and vocal delivery, they can be especially appealing when sung by men with lower voices.
eviljoōbachi

Queen Bee is a band that has gained popularity for its unparalleled originality and musicality.
While vocalist Avu-chan is often noted for their high register, their lower range is also a major charm.
A work that makes full use of Avu-chan’s low vocals is Aku.
Although the opening humming is sung in a high register, the rest is delivered in the low to mid-low range, allowing men with lower voices to showcase their appeal to the fullest.
Be sure to add it to your repertoire.
ACTORTomonari Sora

Speaking of low-voice artists, many people nowadays might think of Sora Tomonari.
With that in mind, I recommend this track, “ACTOR.” It features a musical-like style and is sung primarily in the low to low-mid range throughout.
In the final section, vocals jump up by an octave, which might make it seem high, but if that’s difficult you can simply stick to the original line.
As such, it’s a very singable song for men with lower voices.

Overdosenatori

This is singer-songwriter Natori’s first digital single, released in September 2022.
In May 2021, Natori began posting videos of original songs on TikTok.
By May 2022, over 30 short versions of songs had been uploaded.
The track we’re introducing here, “Overdose,” was first posted in May 2022 and, due to its strong response, was released as a full-length, digital-only single that September.
It’s an excellent piece whose mechanical, square beat in the backing track merges with Natori’s slightly languid vocals to create a unique allure.
I think it’s also very singable for lower-voiced male singers.
Rather than obsessing over range or pitch, the most important thing when performing this song is how well you can recreate the original’s laid-back, languid vibe.
So study the original carefully and give it a try.
For the vocal approach, you might get a good result by aiming for a chest voice—resonating in the chest cavity and letting the sound sit low in the mouth with the lower jaw engaged.
Give that a try as well.
HomeRusan’chiman

Ressentiment is a rock band gaining popularity with their catchy alternative rock.
While many recent bands favor songs with lots of high notes, they mainly stick to a calmer, more masculine style reminiscent of about 15 years ago.
Among their works, the track “Home” is especially recommended for men with lower voices.
It’s less a song rich in low notes and more one with fewer high notes—that’s the best way to put it.
There are parts where you’ll need to belt, but it’s recommended to sing those sections with a deep, robust tone.
For the falsetto parts, try not to make them too clean or polished.
