loveHoshino Gen

Gen Hoshino’s ninth single, released in October 2016.
It was also used as the theme song for the TBS TV drama “We Married as a Job!” (original title: “Nigeru wa Haji da ga Yaku ni Tatsu”), in which he starred.
The “Koi Dance,” performed by Hoshino and ELEVENPLAY in the music video, was covered by the drama’s cast in the ending sequence and became a huge craze.
Many of you have probably heard the song or seen the dance.
It’s a catchy track with a brisk tempo, and the melody is very simple and easy to remember, so I highly recommend it as a karaoke pick for those who aren’t confident singers.
In the original key, it might be a bit tough for men with lower voices, so be sure to pay close attention to the key settings.

Reguluskururi

This is a single released on October 10, 2025, available exclusively for download and streaming.
For this ‘Regulus,’ Ayaka Tatono from Homecomings participates as a guest vocalist.
It’s been described as having a mood that suits the season from autumn into winter, with a theme that gently supports “the courage to take on challenges” and “dreams that haven’t faded yet.” The distinctive “myooon” sound at the start is very Kururi-like, isn’t it? (laughs) The overall range isn’t very high, so there’s no need to belt out high notes.
If possible, it would be great to sing it as a male–female pair! In that case, if both of you sing quietly, it will match the atmosphere of the song well.
riceDISH//

The four-member rock band DISH//.
While they’re a band, they also have idol-like popularity and enjoy tremendous support from women.
Among DISH//’s songs, the one I especially recommend to men in their 30s is Gohan.
DISH// tend to have many glittery, female-friendly tracks, but this one is crafted with a slightly grittier, earthier melody.
Kitamura Takumi’s vocals may make that less obvious, but if you’re a man in your 30s, wouldn’t you be able to bring out that grittiness even more?
Rose of PassionTHE BLUE HEARTS

This is THE BLUE HEARTS’ ninth single, released on July 25, 1990.
It’s a so-called “beat punk” track that dominated the early ’90s—up-tempo and incredibly catchy.
You don’t need any complicated theories to sing a song like this! Just get into the groove and have fun.
There aren’t any musically or vocally difficult parts, so I especially recommend this for people who are usually reluctant to sing—pick it at karaoke and enjoy.
I’m sure you’ll discover just how fun singing can be!
Paradise BabyRIP SLYME

RIP SLYME’s fifth single, released on June 26, 2002.
The first key to singing this song coolly at karaoke is how slickly and stylishly you can nail the Japanese rap in the A section.
Japanese rap can easily come off really lame if done poorly, so keep it light, stay in the groove, and MC without falling behind the rhythm.
Once you clear that, the melodic parts aren’t high in key and consist of simple repeating phrases, so you shouldn’t stumble there.
Have fun and give it your best!
AiHata Motohiro

It’s one of Motohiro Hata’s signature works and a masterpiece that has captivated many fans.
The gentle string tones and slow-tempo melody are soothing.
Hata’s clear, emotionally rich lyrics are well worth a listen.
It’s a song you’ll definitely want to add to your karaoke repertoire.
Taxi to the MoonPenthouse

Penthouse is a band known for its rare twin-vocal style.
Centered on city soul—a unique genre born from Black music—they’ve been drawing attention with their sophisticated songs.
Among their tracks, the one I especially recommend is Taxi to the Moon.
It carries a slightly Black-inspired vibe, but it doesn’t feature particularly difficult vocal ad-libs.
On top of that, the vocal range required isn’t very wide, making it relatively easy to sing compared to others in this vein.
