PrimalORIGINAL LOVE

It’s Original Love’s eighth single, released in 1996.
It was originally written as a theme song for a TV drama and became a hit, reaching No.
5 on the Oricon weekly chart.
The lyrics are excellent, and singing it vividly brings the scenes and emotions to life.
waxing; filling up; becoming full; growing (e.g., the moon growing fuller)Fuji Kaze

Fujii Kaze’s new song “Michiteyuku.” Since his music is mostly rooted in R&B, to be frank, his songs tend to be on the difficult side.
However, this work is relatively easy among his catalog, featuring a relaxed tempo throughout and a comparatively narrow vocal range for his music.
The use of runs and ad-libs—techniques characteristic of R&B—is mostly on the easier side as well, making it a good recommendation for those looking for singable songs in R&B or Black music.
MeribaPEOPLE 1

PEOPLE 1 is a pop band that has been active since 2019.
In Japan’s rock scene—where high, thin vocals are common—their thick, loud vocal tone is especially appealing.
Among their tracks, I particularly recommend Meriba.
Because it uses a lot of falsetto, it might feel difficult.
It’s true that sung as-is, it’s challenging, but the song’s range isn’t actually that wide.
If you lower the key by about two semitones from your comfortable range, you’ll be able to sing most parts in chest voice—so give it a try.
swallowtail butterflyPorunogurafiti

This is Porno Graffitti’s sixth single overall, released on June 27, 2001.
The Latin-style rhythm and vocal melody make a very striking impression.
That said, the vocal range used isn’t particularly wide, and the phrases are very easy to remember, so it’s a song that just about anyone can casually hum along to.
If possible, sing it in a key that lets you project a bright, resonant tone, and keep the rhythm light so it doesn’t become flat.
mismatchedTHE SUPER FRUIT

A seven-member male idol group, THE SUPER FRUIT, released this as their debut single in August 2022.
With an easy-to-sing vocal melody and tempo, it feels like a classic, straight-down-the-line idol song.
There’s no need to overthink the difficulty when singing this at karaoke! Just let your voice out comfortably, ride the rhythm, and have fun.
If you even copy and learn their choreography and everyone there sings along together, you’ll definitely enjoy it even more!
Dear Us,Komudotto

Popular YouTubers, Comdot.
There was a time when their subscriber count plummeted due to controversies, but lately they’ve been gradually regaining their former numbers.
They’re also active as artists.
Among their songs, “Dear Us” is one I especially recommend.
Crafted with a classic J-pop feel, it’s a catchy piece that’s exceptionally easy to sing in every section.
The vocal range is narrow and there aren’t many long sustained notes, so definitely give it a try.
ChampionArisu

This is the 14th single by the Japanese folk/new music group Alice, released in December 1978.
It was a massive hit that reached No.
1 on the Oricon charts at the time, and it unfolds a story—set to a pleasant melody—about a boxing champion being defeated by a younger fighter.
Despite its dramatic content, the vocal melody doesn’t span a particularly wide range, and compared with contemporary songs, the melodic line itself is very simple, easy to remember, and easy to hum.
So even those who aren’t confident singers can likely pick it at karaoke and enjoy it without worry.
The harmonies by Tanimura and Horiuchi aren’t very complex either, so it could be fun for two people to sing in harmony together.
