We’ve selected many songs with simple melodies and rhythms that are easy to remember, so please use this as a reference!

Even Karaoke Beginners Can Relax! Easy-to-Sing Songs for Men (301–310)

Salvador Sagasoshina

Soshina from the duo Shimofuri Myojo has been active on many fronts.

Recently, he’s also been highly acclaimed as an artist, gaining strong support from many fans for his rough, punk-rock-centered style.

Among his songs, the one I especially recommend is Salvador Saga.

This track has the feel of classic, orthodox Japanese punk rock, and while the melody is powerful, the vocal range is set narrowly.

For men who can’t hit high notes, it’s a very singable song.

Ayase, known as a member of YOASOBI, is also active as a solo artist, showcasing a distinctive, more downbeat style compared to YOASOBI.

His new track “From Now!” has been released as the theme song for the mobile game Monster Hunter Now and is drawing attention.

While the song features a catchy, upbeat melody, its vocal range is surprisingly modest.

It also doesn’t require much vocal power, making it a very easy track for men to sing.

LOVE ROCKETSThe Birthday

The Birthday – LOVE ROCKETS [MV] (Opening theme song of the film “THE FIRST SLAM DUNK”)
LOVE ROCKETSThe Birthday

It’s a digital single by the Japanese rock band The Birthday, released in December 2022.

It was selected as the opening theme for the film THE FIRST SLAM DUNK.

Both the vocal melody and the song structure are very simple, making it an easy pick for karaoke even for those who aren’t confident singers.

There aren’t any particularly difficult parts to sing, but if the vocal loses its sense of groove, everything can fall apart.

Make sure to lock in with the rhythm of the backing track and be mindful of where to cut off and stop notes as you sing.

rose flowerkururi

Quruli – Rose Flower | Trailer

Characterized by its gently whispered vocals, this song is the seventh single released in 2001 by Quruli, a band from Kyoto.

With its mid-tempo, pleasantly strumming guitars, it’s the kind of track that makes your body sway without thinking.

Even if you’re not confident in your vocal power, you should be able to sing this one.

The continuation of this EarthKobukuro

Kobukuro’s ninth digital-only single, released in July 2022.

It’s the official theme song for the Osaka-Kansai Expo scheduled for 2025.

By the way, the title “地球” is read as “Hoshi” (star).

From the very start of the intro, it’s a fun song that makes you feel excited and sense a bright future for our planet! With so many gloomy topics these days, it feels like this is exactly the kind of song we need.

Because of that, I don’t really want to get too technical about “how to sing it,” but just one point: despite the tempo, the song is built on broad, sweeping melodic lines with relatively large note values.

So take care to honor that “big melodic flow” and be careful not to rush the rhythm when you sing.

It might also be fun to sing it together as a group chorus.

Becoming a Thousand WindsAkiyama Masashi

A Thousand Winds — Song: Masafumi Akikawa
Becoming a Thousand WindsAkiyama Masashi

This was Masafumi Akikawa’s debut single, released on May 24, 2006.

It became a huge hit and generated a lot of buzz at the time, so I’m sure many of you will find it familiar.

Since Akikawa is a classically trained vocalist, he performs with a commanding voice, strong vocal technique, and expressive power.

Because of that, some people may hesitate to pick it for karaoke when comparing themselves to the original.

However, the melody itself is more like a traditional song than pop—it’s very straightforward and easy to sing—so I think it’s a piece that anyone can handle comfortably.

If this gets you interested in singing it and then inspires you to level up and aim for a performance like his… that could be a really fun journey!

ALOSMiura Daichi

It’s Daichi Miura’s 11th digital-only single, released in February 2023.

At first listen, some people might think, “Isn’t this hard to sing!?” because he switches between various high-tone vocals, but you can solve that by lowering the key in karaoke—so feel free to sing along casually.

The rhythm has a slightly unique feel, which I think is part of Miura’s signature style, and once it clicks, the melody feels really good.

Definitely practice it.

Once you get past that hurdle, I think you’ll realize it’s actually an easy song to sing.
