Earth Blues ~337~KICK THE CAN CREW

KICK THE CAN CREW Earth Blues ~337~ USJ Countdown Party 2019
Earth Blues ~337~KICK THE CAN CREW

It’s a drinking song that kicks off with the familiar Japanese 3-3-7 clapping intro.

It’s perfect for party people who want to drink a lot, get really tipsy, and get so pumped they could lift the whole Earth.

The lyrics are super funny!

Weʼll go togetherSnow Man

Snow Man is an idol group that’s widely supported by many young people regardless of gender.

While recent idol songs increasingly feature high-difficulty tracks like K-pop, they still deliver classic, sparkling pop in an orthodox style.

Among their songs, a particular recommendation is “We’ll go together.” It features a familiar chord progression and a relatively narrow vocal range.

Although falsetto appears in the chorus, it’s only for a moment, so it’s perfectly fine to boldly try singing it in chest voice instead.

Blues Swaying in the Wind feat. TAKUMATOKYO SKA PARADISE ORCHESTRA

Wind-Swayed Blues feat. TAKUMA (10-FEET) / TOKYO SKA PARADISE ORCHESTRA
Blues Swaying in the Wind feat. TAKUMATOKYO SKA PARADISE ORCHESTRA

Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra is a ska band that represents Japan.

They’ve collaborated with numerous artists and have produced many classic songs to date.

Their collaboration with TAKUMA from 10-FEET is this track, “Kaze ni Soyogu Blues (feat.

TAKUMA).” Because the song features many melody developments reminiscent of Japanese kayōkyoku (traditional pop), it includes plenty of vocal lines that are easy for Japanese listeners to sing.

The vocal range isn’t very wide either, so even those who can’t hit high notes should be able to sing it.

voiceZORN

ZORN is one of the rappers who represent Japanese hip-hop.

His realistic rhymes born from a hard life and his distinctive flow are striking, making him one of the most popular rappers in Japan’s hip-hop scene today.

His track “Koe” (Voice) was released in April 2024.

The song is dedicated to a friend who passed away.

While the lyrics are moving, everything except the chorus is delivered with ZORN’s hard-hitting flow.

It doesn’t include any rapid-fire sections, so it should be easy for anyone to sing.

AkariGReeeeN

GReeeeN / Akari [Theme song for TBS Sunday drama 'TOKYO MER: Mobile Emergency Room']
AkariGReeeeN

This is GReeeeN’s 35th single, scheduled for release on September 8, 2021.

As of the time of writing (8/11), it hasn’t been released yet.

It’s amazing that we live in an era where we can introduce unreleased songs via YouTube like this! The song was created as the theme for TBS’s Sunday drama “TOKYO MER: Mobile Emergency Room.” It’s a mid-tempo track that seems very easy to remember, so I think it’ll be relatively approachable even for men who don’t usually sing much.

However, there are parts sung melodically and parts with a slightly rap-like delivery, so be sure to bring out the contrast between them when you sing.

Also, there are some spots in the latter half that require a bit of a high range, so please take care with the key setting if you choose it for karaoke!

marble latteRin Oto

marble latte – Rin音 (Official Music Video)
marble latteRin Oto

Rapper Rin-ne, who enjoys overwhelming support from young people with his catchy lyrics and flow.

If you’re a guy in your teens or twenties, you’ve probably sung one of his tracks at least once.

Among Rin-ne’s songs, the one I especially recommend is Marble Latte.

This track is characterized by its melodious flow.

Songs like this often make breathing tricky, but this one has a relaxed BPM, so there’s no need to worry.

The vocal range is narrow too, so anyone with basic rap skills should be able to pull it off.

Super Syndromer10-FEET

10-FEET – Spurt Syndrome (Anime 'Uma Musume: Cinderella Gray' Cour 2 Opening Theme)
Super Syndromer10-FEET

This song was created as the opening theme for Cour 2 of the anime Uma Musume: Cinderella Gray, released in October 2025! It’s a high-octane rock track bursting with drive and soul, and even if you think you’re tone-deaf, you can power through it on sheer momentum and feeling! 10-FEET’s songs tend to sit in the mid range for male vocals, with almost no super-high notes, so it’s easy to sing even if high notes aren’t your strong suit.

Also, just listening might make you think for a moment, “Is this in English?” But when you look at the lyrics, you’ll see lots of difficult kanji and words.

It’s probably better to learn the lyrics and melody with both your eyes and ears before you sing.

Go ahead and let your emotions fly and sing your heart out!
