I want to hold youzēzē hāhā

Zeezeehaa-Haa is a band that’s popular among hardcore Japanese rock fans.
In their early days, they incorporated funk and soul, giving their sound a distinctive originality even within mainstream Japanese rock.
Among their songs, the one I especially recommend is “Dakishimete Itai” (“I Want to Hold You”).
The vocal range is about average, with no sudden jumps in pitch and a relaxed tempo, making it unquestionably easy to sing.
Definitely consider adding it to your repertoire.
sheepminimamu jiiku

Minimumsieg, a band funded by Niigata Prefecture.
They’ve been expanding their activities at local live houses and have recently been gaining nationwide recognition.
Among Minimumsieg’s songs, the one I especially recommend as easy for men to sing is Hitsuji (Sheep).
Although the overall sound is fairly bustling, the vocal line has gentle rises and falls, making it easier to sing than it sounds at first.
There are no high-register parts at all, so it’s a good choice for men who struggle with high notes.
Manchu-Han Imperial FeastRyukku to soine gohan

Ryutoku to Soineru Gohan is a four-member co-ed band formed in 2017.
Their sound is rooted in J-pop and pop rock, and they’ve gained popularity for their catchy melodies.
Among their songs, a particularly recommended track is Mankan Zen-seki.
This piece blends elements of Chinese pop with J-pop, featuring a calm, gently undulating vocal line throughout.
There are no belted or shouty sections, so consider adding it to your repertoire.
Life is in a rush.namu abedabutsu

Nam Amida Butsu are a three-piece rock band known as an “Aloha rock” act.
Despite the self-proclaimed Aloha influence, that element isn’t especially strong; at their core they’re more like catchy Japanese rock, and they’ve released many easy-to-listen-to tracks.
Among their songs, the one I especially recommend is “Namu ABEda Butsu.” The vocals have a bit of drive, but the range isn’t very wide and it sits mostly in the mid register, making it very easy to sing.
Definitely consider adding it to your repertoire.
I don’t listen to love songs.Yūgata to Neko

The band Yuugata to Neko, known for lyrics that capture everyday life, has grown popular.
They have a solid reputation for having many so-called “emo” tracks and have released numerous classics to date.
Among them, the song I especially recommend is Don’t Listen to Love Songs.
It’s memorable for a chorus that steadily ramps up in intensity, yet the vocal range is narrow and the chorus starts in a low register, so even men who can’t hit high notes can sing it without any problem.
Be sure to add it to your repertoire.
Before SunriseTeikoku Kissa

Teikoku Kissa is a band based in Osaka.
It’s a unique group in which three of the four members are melody makers, and they’ve gained popularity for a sound that balances a free-from-the-mold approach with an orthodox style.
Among their songs, the one I especially recommend is Before Sunrise.
It features a prominent bass line without feeling heavy, and overall it’s tied together by a light, even-keeled vocal line with little dramatic fluctuation.
LOVE&PUNKaishite okure

Known for a musical style influenced by bands like GOING STEADY, GINGNANG BOYZ, and andymori, Aishite Okure is recognized as the successor band to Goodbye Fujiyama.
These days, they’re known for a style reminiscent of Shinsei Kamattechan.
Among their songs, the one I especially recommend is LOVE&PUNK.
It’s basically an orthodox rock track, but a distinctly punk section appears partway through.
Because these two sections are clearly separated, it’s easy to switch to the next part with your voice already well set, which makes it particularly comfortable to sing.
