Spring Music Festival Schedule Overview [2026]

This is a festival held under the catchphrase “Rock for 1,000 yen”! Of course, the ticket price is an incredible 1,000 yen. Despite the affordable tickets, notable artists perform every year, making it a must-see festival you won’t want to miss!

This event is organized by GO OUT, a magazine that proposes fashion, outdoor, and lifestyle, and in addition to live music, it features a variety of activities and workshops. Outdoor brand shops have booths, camping is available, and overall it’s truly an event specialized in the outdoors. Since participants can enjoy it in their own way, why not come and experience it freely?

This event began in 2012, about a year and a half after the Great East Japan Earthquake, as recovery was slowly progressing. It has continued to be loved as a community music event held on street corners, turning all of Kesennuma into a venue. Believing in the power of music to bring hope and strength, local residents plan and run the event, with citizens at the center performing to energize each venue. Music heard throughout the town brings liveliness and lifts people’s spirits.
