Spring Music Festival Schedule Overview [2026]

DEAD POP FESTiVAL, which has been held since 2010 under the slogan “Break the Wall,” has firmly established itself as an outdoor event and joined the ranks of summer open-air festivals. The festival is hosted by the hugely popular reggae-punk band SiM. Because SiM is always taking on new challenges, the event has featured initiatives unlike anything seen before. This year as well, their fresh ideas will no doubt make it an incredibly fun experience.

WALK INN FES! is a hometown festival of music and people in Kagoshima that has been held since 2014 under the motto, “We create our town ourselves.” Multiple local shops set up booths and local artists perform, with a focus on running the event through local power. Going forward, they aim to firmly establish the event and solidify a style that includes inviting guest artists from outside the prefecture.

This is a festival held under the catchphrase “Rock for 1,000 yen”! Of course, the ticket price is an incredible 1,000 yen. Despite the affordable tickets, notable artists perform every year, making it a must-see festival you won’t want to miss!

This event is organized by GO OUT, a magazine that proposes fashion, outdoor, and lifestyle, and in addition to live music, it features a variety of activities and workshops. Outdoor brand shops have booths, camping is available, and overall it’s truly an event specialized in the outdoors.
