Types of Music Genres (111–120)
Progressive House

It tends to strongly cross over with other genres like trance and house, and because there’s no clear boundary with trance, the terminology is somewhat ambiguous.
Since many tracks are experimental and genreless, a wide variety of music has been released.
It was quite popular in the early 2000s, and even now you can hear it in many genres in different forms.
bossa nova

It is one of the genres of Brazilian music.
While it is often written as “Bossa Nova,” the proper name is “Bossa-Nova.” A hallmark of Bossa Nova is the use of a nylon-string classical guitar played with the fingers rather than a pick.
Centered around Brazilian artists, there are also many artists in Japan, including Junko Ohashi.
Bolero

Many people may know the name from the famous piece Boléro by the classical composer Ravel.
It was a dance music genre that began in Spain at the end of the 18th century and, while evolving, made its way to the Americas.
It is said to be a foundational genre for Latin music.
Manouche jazz

It’s a genre also known as gypsy jazz! It blends the gypsy style into jazz swing, and it’s said to have been pioneered by the Belgian-born guitarist Django Reinhardt.
Relaxing Music
It is one of the music genres close to ambient music that features natural environmental sounds such as rain, streams, and birdsong as the main elements.
Many tracks have a relaxed BPM of around 70–100 and use light breakbeats to create a sense of rhythm.
Due to its distinctive atmosphere, it has few similarities with other genres.
It is often played in calm spaces such as hospitals and cafés.
