Sertanejo

Sertanejo means “people who live in the hinterlands,” and it’s a genre that was sung in rural areas around western Brazil.
Although its musical style has changed over time, it has always been popular as the music of the people, a form of popular music loved in every era.
Texas blues

The mainstream style of blues in Texas.
There are many Texas blues musicians from before the war as well, but compared to Delta blues, it feels less soulful and less gritty! The video features Blind Lemon Jefferson, a blind bluesman known as the father of Texas blues!
Funk

It’s a genre of Black music that emerged with James Brown at its core.
Characterized by 16-beat rhythms and repetitive phrases, it’s a rhythm-driven style featuring guitar cutting and slapping bass.
Future soul

It’s a genre that emerged in the 2010s as a new form of soul music incorporating a wide range of styles.
While absorbing elements like electro and house music, its core remains rooted in soul.
