Suntory Green Tea Iyemon: “Pride of the Tea Master” EditionMasahiro Motoki, Mei Nagano

This commercial conveys Suntory’s desire to make truly delicious tea with Iemon, expressed through the earnest expressions of Mei Nagano and Masahiro Motoki.
True to its title, “Pride of the Tea Masters,” the film powerfully speaks to the dedication and pride that go into crafting great tea, set against refreshing visuals with winds sweeping through.
The music that captures both this freshness and strength is Joe Hisaishi’s “Oriental Wind.” While the piece is often paired with a powerful orchestra, when played on piano alone, its lightness and breezy atmosphere stand out even more.
Asahi Soft Drinks Calpis Water “Spring Heart-Flutters” VersionMei Nagano

The Calpis commercials that depict bittersweet youth are always popular.
In the “Spring Heart-Throbs” version featuring Mei Nagano, the music is by Official HIGE DANDism.
They shot to stardom with their smash hit song “Pretender,” didn’t they? Incorporating piano and synth sounds and drawing influence from jazz and funk, their music exudes a chic, stylish allure.
However, “Parabola,” used in this commercial, delivers a slightly different impression—brimming with exhilarating freshness.
It’s a perfect fit for the Calpis image and the spirit of youth.
UQ mobile ‘Family with UQ mobile’ VersionKyoko Fukada, Mikako Tabe, Mei Nagano

The UQ Sisters—Kyoko Fukada, Mikako Tabe, and Mei Nagano—star in the UQ Mobile commercial “Family with UQ Mobile,” alongside Gachapin and Mukku as their parents.
The ad features a parody of Wink’s “Lonely Tropical Fish,” a song by the idol duo known for never smiling, who were active from the end of the Showa era into early Heisei.
Released in 1985, the track became popular for its distinctive dance, especially during the chorus.
The commercial also includes choreography that pays homage to that dance.
Although it’s a song from the early Heisei period, it remains a timeless number that still feels fresh.
Ajinomoto Knorr Cup Soup: Rich, Nutritious, Let’s Eat. “Corn Cream” Version / “Spinach” VersionMei Nagano

This commercial, where Mei Nagano murmurs “So happy” while savoring her soup, is for Knorr Cup Soup.
Through Nagano’s narration about wanting to choose something carefully made for breakfast, the ad conveys the appeal of a cup soup that’s easy to prepare yet nutritious and delicious.
The gentle song used as the background music is an original track for the commercial, sung by singer-songwriter Konatsu Sogabe.
The lyrics are by Shinya Takano, and the music is by Masahiro Tobinai—an impressive creative team behind the production.

This is a commercial for Suntory Natural Mineral Water FRUIT-SPARK Grapefruit & Lemon, which uses an arranged version of Tonchin Kanchin Ikkyu-san, known as the opening theme of the anime Ikkyu-san.
Part of the lyrics has been rearranged to say “Furu-Supa.” The ad features Mei Nagano in sporty attire drinking the product, and Keiji Muto in a running shirt singing about it being “unsweetened.”
Asahi Soft Drinks Calpis Water: “Lemon” Version / “Sandy Beach” Version / “Mascot Costume Part-Time Job” VersionMei Nagano, Shinya Kote

This is a series of commercials showing Mei Nagano and Shinya Kote enjoying Calpis.
In the “Lemon” version, Kote introduces Calpis Water Lemon to Nagano.
Meanwhile, in the “Beach” and “Mascot Costume Part-time Job” versions, Kote is in situations where he can’t drink Calpis right away—buried in sand or working inside a mascot suit—watching Nagano sip her Calpis deliciously with a look of envy.
At the end of the commercials, the two of them are shown drinking Calpis together in a refreshing scene.
The BGM for these commercials features Official HIGE DANDism’s “Parabola,” whose typically breezy melody is paired with lyrics that feel like a cheer for new beginnings.
Listening to it lifts your spirits and makes you feel positive.

Ora2 me “Recent First Impressions” EditionMei Nagano

This commercial conveys that a person’s first impression may be determined by the expression they show when they take off their mask, and that using Ora2 me and having white teeth can improve that first impression.
It features Mei Nagano taking off her mask and showing a smile, and everyone around her is surprised by her white teeth.
The message also clearly comes across that even if your face is often covered by a mask, it’s important to take proper care of your teeth.
