[Promise Commercials] Popular and Historical Commercials Summary [2026] (1–10)
Promise ‘Financial and Economic Education’ EditionBakarhythm

Comedian Bakarhythm appears in PROMISE’s Financial and Economic Education Seminar commercial, “Financial and Economic Education.” Like a high-profile new product launch by a major company, he walks around the stage in front of projected visuals while talking about the seminar.
The ad highlights the number of participants at seminars held at PROMISE Customer Service Plazas nationwide, as well as testimonials from attendees.
It notes that what you can learn from participants’ voices isn’t just about money—it’s also about their individual futures.
With his complete immersion into the role, just as when performing his comedy routines, Bakarhythm makes you feel as if you’re watching one of his shows.
Promise “Why the App” Version

The PROMISE App Loan commercial, “Why Are There So Many Apps?”, features Junpei Mizobata playing the big brother in the PROMISE family.
The brother wonders why there are so many useful apps appearing one after another in everyday life.
Then the ad introduces one of those convenient apps: the PROMISE App Loan.
It explains that you don’t need a card and you can easily use it at Seven Bank ATMs.
The brother, having discovered yet another handy app, looks absolutely delighted!
PROMISE: “With the App Loan, you don’t have to worry about the time—available 24 hours.” (version)Junpei Mizobata / Rei Okamoto / Naomi Nishida

The commercial “With the App Loan, You Don’t Have to Watch the Clock 24/7,” featuring Naoki Tanaka of Cocorico, Naomi Nishida, Junpei Mizobata, and Rei Okamoto as a family.
During the hectic moments before heading out, Dad, Mom, and the older brother can’t get their hairstyles right.
While the three of them are frantically pressed for time, the spot contrasts that with Promise’s app loan, which lets you apply and make repayments whenever you like—an app that frees you from watching the clock.
And when their hairstyles finally come together, all three end up with uniquely quirky looks full of things to poke fun at.

PROMISE “Uncle Tom Appears” EditionShozo Endo, Naoki Tanaka, Jumpei Mizobata, Rei Okamoto, Naomi Nishida

A Promise commercial featuring Naoki Tanaka from Cocorico as the dad, Naomi Nishida as the mom, Junpei Mizobata as the older brother, and Rei Okamoto as the younger sister.
In this “Uncle Tom Appears” version, Tanaka’s comedy partner Shozo Endo from Cocorico appears as Uncle Tom.
The four of them eagerly await Uncle Tom’s arrival.
He was supposed to come at night, but he shows up much earlier than planned.
Uncle Tom and the dad bump elbows and happily celebrate their reunion.
Then, saying it’s a gift of a dance, Uncle Tom performs Endo’s gag “Ho Ho Hoi.” The family of four, while remarking, “It doesn’t feel like we’re seeing this for the first time,” adorably try to imitate it.
PROMISE “Why Online Reservations?” Version

I bet quite a few people watched this commercial and thought, “I totally get that.” In the spot titled “The Mystery of Online Reservations,” Rei Okamoto—who plays the younger sister Kana in the Promise Family—muses about how she somehow forgets plans when she books them online.
Instead of online reservations, it recommends Promise’s app-based “App Loan,” which lets you see all your usage details, including reservations.
In an era when almost everyone has a smartphone, an app makes things easier to understand, doesn’t it?
Promise “Why a Wedding?” Version

Did you know the family name in Promise’s family-series commercials? Their surname is “Naze” (which means “why”), so the series is about “the Naze family, who question everything.” Junpei Mizobata appears as the older brother, “Naze Taro.” In this ad, he tilts his head while holding a bunch of celebratory gift envelopes like playing cards and wonders, “Why do weddings happen one after another…?” Naze Taro’s straight face and troubled look all the way through are so funny you can’t help but keep watching (lol).
Promise “Light and Free” Version

The word “Promise” appears in simple lettering, and then a woman bursts through it with a roar, full of energy and a beaming smile.
She dances with high spirits, and as more people appear, everyone dances and vigorously throws things away—computers, cards, watches—tossing them aside with almost satisfying abandon.
People from various professions join in, and by the end, even the bystanders get swept up, dancing and having fun.
The message is that with the Promise app loan, all you need is the app.
It’s a commercial that leaves you feeling refreshed after watching.
