GLAMOROUS SKYNANA starring MIKA NAKASHIMA
This is Mika Nakashima’s 16th single, released under the name “NANA starring MIKA NAKASHIMA,” and it came out in 2005.
The song was used as the theme for the film NANA, in which she starred.
It was composed and produced by HYDE of L’Arc~en~Ciel, with lyrics by Ai Yazawa, the original creator of NANA.
It features a rock sound and a pleasantly soaring high register.

As you can tell from the name including “Shonan,” it’s a summer-ready song that really heats up in the summer and is perfect for getting loud with a big group at karaoke.
It makes sense that it ranks number one for most calories burned at karaoke.
At live shows, it’s a song where the audience can spin their towels and get sweaty while getting hyped.

The lyrics really pack a punch, and it’s a song that single women can strongly relate to.
There aren’t many songs these days that so frankly express women’s feelings.
