Those who fight the monster called realityTakahashi Yuu

Even when we say we’re stressed out, everyone has their own way to cope, right? Some people want to blast fast, hard-hitting rock at full volume, while others want to think things through endlessly and lose themselves in a song they can completely sink into.
Takahashi Yū’s track “Those Who Fight the Monster Called Reality” is perfect for the latter.
It brilliantly portrays the harshness of the real world, the stress it causes, and the people who suffer because of it—so much so that you can’t help but nod along in agreement.
A Cruel Angel’s ThesisTakahashi Yoko

This is the 11th single by female singer Yoko Takahashi, best known as the opening theme of the TV anime Neon Genesis Evangelion.
Although it was created for the anime, it consistently ranks near the top in karaoke charts and enjoys support from a wide range of generations.
Its complex yet catchy melody sticks in your head, and because it’s so well-known, it’s a powerful number that can blow away everyday stress when you sing it out loud with a big group at karaoke.
Perfect-Sense DreamerONE OK ROCK

This is the fourth single by ONE OK ROCK, a four-piece rock band that has gained major popularity not only in Japan but also overseas since their major debut in 2007.
It’s a rock tune with a tight, fast-paced band sound and vocals that deliver an overwhelming impact to raise your energy.
Despite its simple lineup of vocals, guitar, bass, and drums, each part stands out with equal presence, making the track full of highlights—perfect for blowing off stress built up from work and daily life.
SpeakingMrs. GREEN APPLE

Starting with an intimate, conversational intro, this song gradually—and then, just as the title suggests, bursts open all at once—spreading a refreshing sensation and a light, brisk sound that lifts your mood.
“Speaking” by Mrs.
GREEN APPLE is their debut single, released in 2015.
It’s an upbeat track that captures youthful freshness and the spirit of adolescence, the kind of song that makes you want to clap along.
It was also used as the ending theme for the anime Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V.
fake town babyUNISON SQUARE GARDEN

When it comes to blowing off steam, tons of songs come to mind, but how about some gloriously unhinged rock? I think smashing through boredom and the ordinary is the ultimate stress relief.
UNISON SQUARE GARDEN is known for their beautiful sound paired with tricky performances.
But their track “fake town baby” is a real rabble-rouser—one of their most intense numbers, like it could blast you right out of your current world.
Belting it out at karaoke is absolutely the best!
Your Anatomical Pure Love Song ~Die~aimyon

These days, Aimyon is popular not only among the younger generation but across a wide range of ages.
Her song “Anata Kaibou Jun Aika ~Shine~” was her indie debut single, released in 2015.
The title might be a bit shocking, but it’s a love song that captures a girl’s single-minded feelings in a very straightforward way.
Some of the lyrics are so blunt they might make you flinch, but the chorus is the kind that makes you want to shout at the top of your lungs—no, you’ll end up shouting.
It’s perfect for belting out at karaoke to feel totally refreshed!
FANTASISTADragon Ash

The 11th single by the hybrid rock band Dragon Ash, which was chosen as the theme song for the 2002 FIFA World Cup.
With vocals that rhyme while irregularly mixing Japanese and English, and a hard-hitting band sound that ramps up the energy, it’s truly a number that could be called the very definition of hybrid (mixture) rock.
Although it’s a challenging song to sing because the lyrics are densely packed throughout its fast tempo, once you nail it, it’s guaranteed to be a great stress reliever.
It’s performed at virtually every live show, making it a track that clearly holds special meaning for the members and enjoys strong popularity among fans.
