This is the “Struggling with the Internet” installment of the lottery commercial series “Jumbo Big Brother,” featuring Satoshi Tsumabuki as the eldest son alongside a star-studded cast.
Everyone keeps chanting that you can buy lottery tickets online, when suddenly the eldest daughter, Riho Yoshioka, bursts into tears.
When they ask what’s wrong, she says she feels sorry for Kuu-chan at the storefront.
Kuu-chan is the lottery’s mascot character, a whale named Kuu-chan.
Aside from the cool-headed second daughter, Mio Imada, everyone starts crying.
Their conclusion? “Let’s buy at the store and online!” The ad ends with a deadpan remark from Imada, clearly exasperated.
Kuu-chan really is cute, though (lol).

In the Halloween Jumbo Lottery “Big Bro Jumbo: Talking in His Sleep” version, the usual siblings—starting with Big Bro Jumbo—imagine in their sleep, talking in their dreams about “What if we won the 500 million yen Halloween Jumbo Lottery…?” While only the youngest sister, Mio Imada, is awake, each sibling voices their own dream.
Big Bro Jumbo says, “We’ll split it evenly among everyone,” and the sister, impressed, thinks, That’s my big brother for you—but then he adds, “Just kidding!” for the punchline, prompting the sister to quip back at her sleeping brother.
