I Got HeavenMannequin Pussy

Mannequin Pussy, known for their female-perspective lyrics and powerful punk sound, are an American punk rock band active since the 2010s.

Formed in New York in 2010, they released their debut album, “Mannequin Pussy,” in 2014.

Their third album, “Patience,” released in 2019, received high critical acclaim.

In 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, they produced the EP “Perfect,” which explores themes of social isolation and the internet, and includes tracks born from improvisation.

In August 2023, they launched their own label, Romantic Records, and reissued their second album, “Romantic.” Their music is characterized by an emotional, raw quality that expresses a range of feelings—not just anger.

They’re recommended not only for fans of punk rock, but also for anyone interested in works by women artists.

Make Me Wanna DieThe Pretty Reckless

A song by The Pretty Reckless, a four-piece alternative rock band fronted by Taylor Momsen, who is also active as an actress and model.

It was released as the lead single from their 2010 debut album “Light Me Up,” and you can tell it’s heavily influenced by grunge in the vocal delivery and overall sound design.

With sultry vocals, noisy guitar tones, and a heavy beat blending in perfect balance, it’s a track that fans of female-fronted rock bands should definitely check out.

No Doubt is a ska-punk band that has sold 27 million records worldwide.

When they debuted in the 1990s rock scene, grunge was the dominant style.

Since their specialties—ska-punk and pop rock—were the polar opposite of grunge, their initial sales amounted to only 30,000 copies.

After the release of Tragic Kingdom in 1995, they became a global act, and Don’t Speak spent 16 weeks at No.

1 on the Billboard Hot 100 Airplay chart.

They have produced a wide range of songs, from orthodox rock to hard rock and socially conscious folk rock.

HomecomingHey Monday

Hey Monday – Homecoming (Official Video)
HomecomingHey Monday

A rock band that charges straight through classic emotional scenes.

There’s still plenty of undiminished intensity in this scene, and because there are so many bands, it’s hard to make your individuality stand out.

But I think this band sets itself apart with a distinctive sense of rhythm and groove.

Let It LandTonight Alive

This is a song by an Australian punk band that debuted in 2011.

Unlike the typical image of punk bands, their fashion and music differ, featuring many pop and melodious numbers.

The song highlighted here is also quite catchy.
