Energize MeAfter Forever

This is a Dutch band that released its debut album in 1999 and enjoyed popularity as a top-tier presence in the gothic metal scene until their breakup in 2009.
Leading the charge as the face of the band was vocalist Floor Jansen, a female singer with a background in musical theatre and opera who also teaches vocals.
With a voice capable of everything from beautiful, operatic tones to powerful shouts, she proved her talent after the band’s dissolution by officially joining Nightwish, the world-famous Finnish symphonic metal band.
She leans more toward a rock-oriented style, so they’re highly recommended even for those who haven’t listened to much gothic metal.
Save YourselfAdora

This is a signature track by the Chicago-based rock band Adora.
It’s an upbeat number where the tight, driving beat lets the cute vocals really shine.
The poppy melody further brings out the charm of the singer.
It’s also perfect as a practice song for bands.
Never WrongDarling Parade

A refreshing rock number by the emo rock band Darling Parade, characterized by its beautiful melody and lyricism.
With its clear, easily discernible sound, it’s an ideal track to cover and perform.
Push ItGarbage

Garbage was a band formed by Butch Vig, who had made a name for himself as the producer for Nirvana and The Smashing Pumpkins, so there were high expectations from the very beginning of their debut.
They did indeed achieve success as expected, and there’s no doubt that Shirley Manson’s exceptional vocal power played a major role in that.
AmaranthNIGHTWISH

A grand-scale number by the Finnish metal band NIGHTWISH.
Often described as operatic metal, the band’s songs are frequently dynamic, and the vocalist’s singing ability is especially outstanding.

Formed in 2008, they initially made a name for themselves as an all-female girl band.

One of their popular songs, “Guys My Age,” is notable for its electric sound and a track that leans toward hip-hop.
Sunday MorningNo Doubt

No Doubt, a representative ska punk band in the United States.
More than 25 years have passed since their 1992 debut, yet they still enjoy top-tier popularity.
