Loto 7 “Carryover” Version

A Lotto 7 commercial featuring the three members of “Atarashii Chizu.” It’s a popular ad where the trio matches various words and people’s names to numbers, and this time the three appear as band members! The lyrics, sung using words converted into numbers, are an over-the-top string of compliments from a girl named Carrie to Tsuyoshi Kusanagi.

The dynamic is funny: the two on either side chiming in with quips while Kusanagi remains deadpan.

In alcohol commercials, it all comes down to how vividly that exhilarating “ahhh” feeling comes through! Even among the many booze ads out there, this one’s sense of refreshing exhilaration stands head and shoulders above the rest.

After listening to Yuki Amami’s impassioned pitch, Ikki Sawamura and Shoei, though skeptical, take a sip of Strong Zero and experience a sky-high rush of refreshment.

If you watch it seriously, there are tons of things to nitpick, but as a hook for a commercial, the visuals are absolutely spot-on!
