Lips, speak passionately of you
The commercial titled “I HOPE.
The Serum of Hope,” named after Kanebo’s slogan I HOPE, features Sena Nakajima, Mirai Moriyama, and Uta Abe, and is striking for its overall artistic visuals.
It also compellingly conveys the strong message that cosmetics are not just about surface beauty, but enrich one’s inner self as well.
The BGM is Machiko Watanabe’s 1980 song “Kuchibiru yo, Atsuku Kimi wo Katare” (“Oh Lips, Speak Passionately of You”).
The CM uses a choral version performed by the Tokyo Boys and Girls Chorus, giving it a grand and powerful sound.
Beautiful worldAimer
This is a commercial that highlights Idemitsu’s efforts to ensure a stable energy supply and to take on initiatives aimed at realizing a carbon‑neutral society.
In particular, the “Future of This Town” segment presents a lovely story in which a girl who once toured an Idemitsu refinery as a child grows up to work there as an Idemitsu employee—please take your time and watch it.
The background music features “Utsukushii Sekai,” an original song written by Aimer specifically for this commercial.
Set against a piano accompaniment, Aimer’s gentle, warm vocals leave a strong impression, and the song unfolds dramatically in a way that draws you in.
Veggie RecoveryMOROHA
MOROHA, known for their distinctive vocals over acoustic guitar accompaniment, have collaborated with Kagome’s “Yasai Ichinichi Kore Ippon” vegetable juice commercial.
The CM features the duo performing their original song ‘Veggie Recovery,’ resulting in footage with a cool, music-video-like vibe.
The lyrics are catchy and themed around familiar drinking-party scenarios, while still conveying the signature passion characteristic of MOROHA—making it a wonderful track.

The Nescafé Gold Blend commercial “A New Kind of Quality Begins,” featuring Takumi Kitamura speaking about what ‘quality’ means, leaves a strong impression.
Many viewers were likely moved by Kitamura’s words.
In this CM, which conveys a sense of quality through its direction and visuals, Toshinobu Kubota’s “Brand New Eyes,” written specifically for the commercial, is featured.
It’s a lovely track where Kubota’s mellow vocals shine over a gentle melody.
You haven’t given up yet, have you?Toukyou Sukapara Daisu Ookesutora

This is a commercial for MARO17, a men’s anti-aging care brand.
In the 2024 “You haven’t given up yet, have you?” version, an original animated video is featured, and there’s even a full version that runs about two and a half minutes.
The background music uses an original song by Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra titled “You Haven’t Given Up Yet, Have You?”, and both the visuals and the music are incredibly cool.
It’s one of those commercials that, when it comes on screen, makes you stop what you’re doing and watch, don’t you think?
Original songHosono Haruomi

Combining photos by Haruomi Hosono with graphics by Keiichi Tanaami, this is a PARCO commercial directed by Naoohiro Ukawa.
It announces PARCO’s HAPPY HOLIDAYS campaign, celebrating its 55th anniversary in 2024.
