In 2023, they also won the Grand Prix at the Miyagi Prefecture High School Band Battle.

Materialtsubakiya shijuusou

Tsubakiya Quartet, a three-piece band that unfortunately disbanded in 2010.
In fact, all the members are from Kumamoto and Okayama Prefectures, and none are from Miyagi! However, the place where Tsubakiya Quartet was formed was Sendai City in Miyagi Prefecture.
The band was formed in 2000 by vocalist and guitarist Yuji Nakada, and they made their major debut in 2007 with the single “LOVER.” The venue for their final concert before disbanding was also Zepp Sendai in Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture.
They are a band known for their melodious, stylish sound inspired by traditional Japanese motifs.
