Akira Suzuki, a native of Iwanuma City in Miyagi Prefecture, serves as the vocal leader of the dance and vocal group WATWING.
The group was formed in 2019 and made their major debut in September 2021.
Their music is characterized by groove-forward dance sounds.
Suzuki, a hard worker who won the audition despite having no prior dance experience, not only leads the group with his powerful vocals but also showcases his versatility in songwriting, composition, and brush calligraphy.
In April 2025, he was also appointed as an Iwanuma PR Ambassador.

Rake is the singer-songwriter launched by the Sendai-based Edward Entertainment Group after the hits by Monkey Majik and GReeeeN.
This song became a big hit, especially on FM radio stations.

In 2024, they ramped up their activities with their first nationally distributed EP, “Shoki Shodo e.p.” Their name became widely known after winning the Grand Prix at Mynavi Senko Riot 2024 in the summer of 2024.

Gentle lovershimamo
Singer-songwriter Shiamo, hailing from Miyagi Prefecture, is known for her piano-based performances and impressive self-producing skills, handling everything from lyric writing to arrangement.
She made her CD debut in 2017, and her signature song “YOU” became a massive hit with over 600 million views on TikTok.
The track was also selected as the ending theme for Fuji TV’s program “Music Saturday.” With hard rock as part of her musical roots, she draws attention for her expressive range, spanning from delicate ballads to a more rock-oriented side.
All of YouKanō Yoshimasa (BALLISTIK BOYZ from EXILE TRIBE)
Yoshimasa Kanou, who is active as a vocalist for BALLISTIK BOYZ from EXILE TRIBE, is from Sendai City in Miyagi Prefecture.
After being selected as a finalist in the 2017 audition VOCAL BATTLE AUDITION 5, he was chosen to join the group.
Their debut album, BALLISTIK BOYZ, released in May 2019, reached No.
1 on the Oricon Weekly Chart.
His standout, commanding vocals—and the group as a whole—have proven their talent, with accolades such as winning the Rising Star Award at the MTV VMAJ 2019.

Vocalist Toru Sakuma, a native of Shiroishi City in Miyagi Prefecture.
He made his major debut in 2015 as the frontman of the rock band NIHONJIN and worked on songs for commercials for professional baseball teams.
He is now enjoying nationwide popularity as part of the music YouTuber unit MELOGAPPA.
By creating projects that explore music from multiple angles—such as turning hit songs into minor keys—they have broadened their support, and in 2022 they won the Silver Prize in the Video Production category at the Tokyo International Choir Competition.
As a songwriter, he has also provided music to artists like Arashi and Sexy Zone, and a co-written piece was used as an ending theme for the anime NARUTO Shippuden, showcasing his multifaceted talent.
Materialtsubakiya shijuusou
Tsubakiya Quartet, a three-piece band that unfortunately disbanded in 2010.
In fact, all the members are from Kumamoto and Okayama Prefectures, and none are from Miyagi! However, the place where Tsubakiya Quartet was formed was Sendai City in Miyagi Prefecture.
The band was formed in 2000 by vocalist and guitarist Yuji Nakada, and they made their major debut in 2007 with the single “LOVER.” The venue for their final concert before disbanding was also Zepp Sendai in Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture.
They are a band known for their melodious, stylish sound inspired by traditional Japanese motifs.
