Since forming in 2021, they’ve been active mainly in their hometown of Sendai, attracting attention with lyrics written in an authentic voice and a genre-blending rock sound.

Their talent was proven by an unprecedented feat: reaching the finals for two consecutive years in the teen gateway competition Senkou Riot.

In 2023, they also won the Grand Prix at the Miyagi Prefecture High School Band Battle.

Their sound—combining vocalist Shota Ono’s clear yet resilient voice with an ensemble that reflects their sincere personalities—is truly captivating.

Admires is a three-piece rock band that launched full-scale activities in Ōsaki, Miyagi Prefecture.

With a robust guitar-rock sound that doesn’t rely on trendy beats, they’re steadily carving their name into the scene.

In 2024, they ramped up their activities with their first nationally distributed EP, “Shoki Shodo e.p.” Their name became widely known after winning the Grand Prix at Mynavi Senko Riot 2024 in the summer of 2024.

They also showcase their versatility by taking part in projects that create songs based on novels.

She made her CD debut in 2017, and her signature song “YOU” became a massive hit with over 600 million views on TikTok.

The track was also selected as the ending theme for Fuji TV’s program “Music Saturday.” With hard rock as part of her musical roots, she draws attention for her expressive range, spanning from delicate ballads to a more rock-oriented side.

Vocalist Toru Sakuma, a native of Shiroishi City in Miyagi Prefecture.

He made his major debut in 2015 as the frontman of the rock band NIHONJIN and worked on songs for commercials for professional baseball teams.

He is now enjoying nationwide popularity as part of the music YouTuber unit MELOGAPPA.

By creating projects that explore music from multiple angles—such as turning hit songs into minor keys—they have broadened their support, and in 2022 they won the Silver Prize in the Video Production category at the Tokyo International Choir Competition.

As a songwriter, he has also provided music to artists like Arashi and Sexy Zone, and a co-written piece was used as an ending theme for the anime NARUTO Shippuden, showcasing his multifaceted talent.

The story of how his music box cover videos posted on social media surpassed 50 million views and drew major attention really symbolizes the modern path to stardom.

He made his major debut in 2017 with NEW WORLD, which was used as the ending theme for the TV anime DIVE!!.

His solid track record is another part of his appeal—his 2019 album CHANGE reached No.

1 on Uta-Net.

Actively performing across Asia, his smooth, soul-soothing voice is sure to resonate with fans of J-pop ballads and offer gentle comfort on quiet, restorative nights.

Materialtsubakiya shijuusou

Tsubakiya Quartet, a three-piece band that unfortunately disbanded in 2010.

In fact, all the members are from Kumamoto and Okayama Prefectures, and none are from Miyagi! However, the place where Tsubakiya Quartet was formed was Sendai City in Miyagi Prefecture.

The band was formed in 2000 by vocalist and guitarist Yuji Nakada, and they made their major debut in 2007 with the single “LOVER.” The venue for their final concert before disbanding was also Zepp Sendai in Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture.

They are a band known for their melodious, stylish sound inspired by traditional Japanese motifs.
