Since forming in 2021, they’ve been active mainly in their hometown of Sendai, attracting attention with lyrics written in an authentic voice and a genre-blending rock sound.
Their talent was proven by an unprecedented feat: reaching the finals for two consecutive years in the teen gateway competition Senkou Riot.
In 2023, they also won the Grand Prix at the Miyagi Prefecture High School Band Battle.
Their sound—combining vocalist Shota Ono’s clear yet resilient voice with an ensemble that reflects their sincere personalities—is truly captivating.

Admires is a three-piece rock band that launched full-scale activities in Ōsaki, Miyagi Prefecture.
With a robust guitar-rock sound that doesn’t rely on trendy beats, they’re steadily carving their name into the scene.
In 2024, they ramped up their activities with their first nationally distributed EP, “Shoki Shodo e.p.” Their name became widely known after winning the Grand Prix at Mynavi Senko Riot 2024 in the summer of 2024.

Teruki, the drummer of the five-member visual kei rock band An Cafe (Antic Cafe), is from Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture.
“Kakusei Heroism” is included on their 12th single, “Kakusei Heroism ~THE HERO WITHOUT A ‘NAME’~.” It was selected as the opening theme for the MBS/TBS anime DARKER THAN BLACK.
