Megumi Murata of Melon Kinenbi is from Wakabayashi Ward, Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture, and this song was released in 2000 as Melon Kinenbi’s debut single.
It was used as the second ending theme for the TBS anime Sorcerous Stabber Orphen: Revenge.

EverMatsuzawa Miki

Miki Matsuzawa was born in Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture.
In her second year of junior high school, her talent was discovered by DJ UTO on the Nippon TV program ‘Uta Sta!!’.
She sang ‘LUCKY GIRL’ in the final presentation and passed.
She made her major debut with this song, which was used as the ending theme for Nippon TV’s ‘RonQ! Highland’ in July 2008 and as the set song for ‘Uta Sta!!’ in July 2008.

Miyuki Hatakeyama is a singer-songwriter from Kesennuma City in Miyagi Prefecture.
She served as the vocalist for groups such as Double Famous and Port of Notes, and made her solo debut in 2001 with The Night Illuminated by the Shining Moon.
She has also been appointed as a Minato Kesennuma Ambassador for her hometown and as a Miyagi Kizuna Ambassador, and her love for her roots has resonated with people across Japan.
Making the most of her warm voice, she is active not only in music but also in numerous commercial narrations.
She has drawn attention for collaborating across borders with many artists, including Yumi Matsutoya and Grammy Award–winning producer Jesse Harris.

Mimori Yusa is a singer-songwriter from Sendai who debuted in 1988 with the album Hitomi Suishō.
She has produced many story-driven pieces of music, and her musical style has been highly praised from many quarters.
She is also very active in live performances and holds an annual concert during the Hinamatsuri season called “cafe mimo — Momo Sekku Chakai.” For that show, she invites a variety of guest musicians.
A hallmark of Mimori Yusa is that, while she has a distinctive musical identity, many of her songs are loved by everyone.

Kyohei Kaneko is from Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture, and this song was released as a digital single.
In 2000, he won the Judges’ Special Award at the 13th JUNON Superboy Contest as the youngest recipient in its history.

sunamasaki annainin

The members of Amatsaki Annainin are from Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture.
They were active as a three-piece band, but after Kosame Nishiyama and Poncho Saito left, only Harutaro Amenochi remains.
Their first single, Ohisama, was used as the ending theme for the TV anime Daily Lives of High School Boys.
KizunaHi-Fi CAMP

SOYA, AIBA, and TOSHIRO of Hi-Fi CAMP are from Miyagi Prefecture.
They recorded everything in their hometown of Sendai, Miyagi, and their feelings for Sendai are reflected in the lyrics.
This song was Hi-Fi CAMP’s debut single, released in 2008.
It was featured as an insert song in the film “Cyborg She” and received many other tie-ins.
